He needs to because its getting ridiculous. It's quite clear he knows that what rhea is asking of him is wrong given how he always gets silent and awkward whenever she brings it up.

Yes, if someone has told me to do something like that I would instantly hate him or her. And it isn't like he was having crush from a long time. So, I can't believe him doing this just to pacify her.
