She wasn't bashed much for her acting though. She was mainly bashed for posting silly stuff on instagram, dating life, leaving f(x) etc .

At this point no one can or should say what the reasons were. Judging by what I saw and read about selected kpop artists and their career ups and lows, I'm surprised there aren't more suicides, though. Kpop seems to me one of the most toxic showbiz industries on this planet. Sure, nasty comments don't help, but let's not conveniently forget about the bigger issue.

Last year SHINee singer Kim Jong Hyun took his own life away. His last message before his death was, "I am broken from inside. The depression that gnawed on me slowly has finally engulfed me entirely.”

Korean showbiz is darker in many ways, and we really don't know whether the social media would be the only reason of Sulli's demise. Last year Sulli told in her reality show that that she had social phobia and panic disorder since ever she was young. There she had also stated that- "There were times when close people...some of my closest friends have left me. People hurt me, so everything fell apart. I didn't feel like I had anyone on my side or anyone who could understand me. So that's why I completely fell apart."

The controversies and events of personal updowns of the celebrities often push them over the edge. Maybe from a far distance a celebrity's life can look lavish and desirable, but in reality no one can actually understand the amount of stress and isolation a celebrity has to go through.

The number is very few. Mostly it's the production company people etc who are shady. And by innocent I don't mean it because of the dating restrictions. Dating does not make anyone bad.

Jonghyun was my favorite SHINee member and my favorite idol ever 😞. I still have a hard time listening to SHINee songs since he passed away.

I can realize how much heart-wrenching it would be for a fan to see her favorite idol passing away. This void feeling is going to be there forever but that's life.😭 I already figured out seeing your older username that you must be a big fan of Jonghyun. His 'Stand by Me' song from Boys Over Flowers is still my favorite.

Thank you ❤️. I got into SHINee through 'Stand By Me' as well. I am able to listen to SHINee songs but there will always be a void due to his passing away 😭. I hope he is resting in peace now.
