Karan Singh Grover aka Mr Rishabh Bajaj of Kasautii Zindagii Kay won an award recently in the Best Actor (Negative Role) category. The actor returned to Television after a sabbatical and his performance is really been appreciated. About the same, in an exclusive chat with PINKVILLA, KSG said, "It is an amazing experience to be playing Mr Bajaj. It is a great character created by Ekta Kapoor. It's an honour."
About playing Bajaj and living it, despite being much younger in real life, KSG added, "We have a great director, he is an awesome person, his energy is very infectious. He helped me form Bajaj. There is this one thing that we used to do where he used to call 'Bajaj' and I used to go in attention pose. It became an autopilot because Bajaj is very serious kinds, while I am very light and easy-going." He also shared that his camaraderie with Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan is very light and they have a lot of fun on sets.
Given that Aamna Sharif has replaced Hina Khan as Komolika on the show, we asked him his views on it. To this, KSG said, "She looks really nice (as Komolika). Whatever she does, she does well only. I am sure she will kill it."
Lastly, when asked if he would ever want to do Sanjivani again, Karan smiled and concluded, "As Dr Armaan? I am right there. Sanjivani is a little incomplete without me, anyway. Whenever they call me, I will be there. The role that is the closest to me, why wouldn't I want to do it?"
