I do not see any wrong with what she is doing, its good she is using her influence to raise awareness and by selling her clothes to raise money for charity.

Hers and Salmans is called Non profit foundation, so yes they do need to publicize in order to raise funds to help people. As a business student of marketing you are taught about such foundations.

I don't think it is fair to conflate criticism with abuse.

Yes, some people hate Deepika. No big deal. Every major celebrity gets their share of fans and haters. Its the cost of fame. While some haters abuse, not all do.

IMO, there has been no abuse in this thread. Some question the integrity of her charity. That is their opinion, nothing wrong with that. It would be unfair if mods had to close this thread because fans cannot bear criticism or difference of opinion.
