So in the beginning itself, the novel explains Mo Xan yu is illegitmate child of Jin Guangshan..They also reveal JGY is another illegitmate child who is now clan leader. I like how novel gives clear introduction of the characters..while in the drama it all created an air of mystery and confusion lmao

Novel gives way better understanding about just everything. The only details missing is description of Wei Ying's death scene.

yes ...that's why I always was confused abt Wei Wuxian..coz in the drama its not explicitly shown.
