There is absolutely no need to get yourself worked up for a show and that too a show like Kasauti. It's okay. I have said this a while ago in some thread, that how we view things has got a lot to do with our life experiences and we find it hard to accept what is wrong according to the rules and standards we live by, even if it's just a fiction. We end up relating. We get hurt. We find it tough to accept. We speak up. We try to search reasons. We understand. That's how it is and that's okay.

Here's what I don't like. Him trying to justify the shit he does. Also unpopular opinion, but the constant *Bad Basu* makes me cringe. RB needs to be unabashed in who he is. He doesn't give a f. and that is it. He doesn't. He shouldn't go on explaining why *HE HAD TO DO IT* because what's happening is wrong or this and that. His whole *I try to be so good* is delusional af. And just hits his credibility. If his philosophy is I'll get what I want. It doesn't matter what I have to do to get it, I understand! But him literally justifying himself and internalizing everything he does as the rite of passage is what makes him sound so unsure and hypocritical. The original RB was bad. And that is it. He enjoyed it. He didn't care as long as he got what he wanted. He, too, had a very strict and twisted code he followed but he'd never spill his whole strategy, way of thinking, or plan. Until his death, Anurag never found out what role Bajaj had played in his and Prerna's separation. šŸ˜† So yeah, if the gloating was just that...gloating. Not my cup of tea.

I agree. Consistency isn't there. This show isn't even entertaining.

Lmao. Wasn't it Basu's thing to organize huge Pandal during Durga Puja? It was Mohini Basu's pride to organize the sabse bada pandal, pandal me shops and sabse badi puja? Wasn't first three episodes all about this? Saalon ki parampara tod di? šŸ˜†

Absolutely. This is cringeworthy now. I resumed watching when B entered. The acting was good, so were the dialogues and scenes. I enjoyed for a brief period of time and look what he has become now? Even he has got me super annoyed now, so much that I have left watching and I am hoping to be able to stick by the not watching thing. šŸ˜†

If I was Prerna I would have run away by now saying it's peaceful when I am single. Maybe then these stupid guys will get some sense.

The pandal every year was arranged by Rajesh and Moloy. As Rajesh isn't there anymore and Moloy isn't capable, Mohini decided to do that in home itself.

Their is a scene between Moloy and Mohini for the same few episodes back where she is apologizing to him for not able to do it this time in pandal without his support.

Nice to see so much traction on this post! ..I would love to reply individually but pressed for time - I think most people seem to agree that even if he had fire proofed himself ..nothing is to say that the he would have been guaranteed to be safe .. one must never play with fire ..it spreads fast and consumes everything in it's path in a blink of the eye! ..

One of the silent readers messaged me and asked me to ask another question - quoting her verbatim below

"Normal kids get traumatized when they see their own one in fire.. Kuki is special needs kid and as shown earlier she is traumatized of some things - as shown in episode where she is hiding in store room and gets scared.. would she not get more traumatized seeing her father (only person she knows since her birth - for now as we know nothing about her mother) in fire?? "

Also comparison IMO to stuntmen, firemen, policemen who put their lives on the line everyday is completely out of line - these are noble men we are talking about who take on dangerous jobs for the greater good of humanity (firemen, policemen) and not to satisfy a selfish urge!
