But agree with Mishkil that this serial, in spite of being illogical, is managing to hold some amount of interest because it is not as crass and violent as most other present serials.

Both are dumb. In their own special way.

Both love cooking. Isha starts dabbyancha business to sustain and help baby grow. Asavari might have to start cooking/working soon with AR to help babdya grow.

Also, in TPR it was 'Baabu' and in AS it is 'Babdya'.

I completely agree with this. She should have been shown as a tough woman. Atleast ghara baher Tari, if gharat aajobancha Samor tough dakhavta yet nasel, pan baher in real life, there are so many "predators" eyeing on women who they think don't have Sahara. That should have made her tough and khambir. But hichi tar Rupanzel zali.

I think the only reason they have shown Asa as a meek woman is that the story is about the dashing Abhi giving her a spine and changing her by the end of the serial. If she had been shown a strong woman, the serial would have been a non-starter, IMO.

I really am waiting for an episode where babdya will say something opposing asa and abhi's wedding and call abhi names or something and thats when asa will finally take a stand and speak up against her laadka babdya. that will be a scene to watch!

Whoever that actor playing babdya is, has no acting skills whatsoever. He is such a drab...even his dialogue delivery is boring.

They tried to show some "romance" between Soham and Shubhra in the last episode but it looked so artificial when Soham lifted her in his arms. It looked more like he was lifting a sack of potatoes. No expressions.

We have to declare him a kaccha limbu of the serial as he is in the company of stalwarts like GO, Patwardhan, TP and Nivedita.
