It’s making me think more and more of these tweets from KK. Strictly from writers POV., Both HS and Babita are not perfect. Mini is getting to see more and more of that now. They both made blunders. HS didn’t trust her in the CD fiasco, Babita didn’t trust Mini when she says Mickey is just a friend. Both have made blunders and hurt Mini. Mini realizes that her parents are not the role model she aspires to be. Can she still forgive them for their blunders and love them unconditionally because they are her parents? Or will she loose faith and drift apart from them? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Woh sab to theek hai, hum kaunsa mana kar rahe hain? Hum bhi dekhna chaahte hain ke Minnie kya seekhti hai? Par kuch to sense hona chahiye, na?

I thought HS made it crystal clear she was his jigar ka tukda and he would be heartbroken if he lost her, and it's like uski jaan mein jaan aa gayi to hear him say that. Then during the GP she had eyes only for him and the way she held on to him as if she could finally stop being afraid of losing him and still loved him dearly. Woh sab kya tha? I had assumed his failings had been pointed out and sorted, especially with the way he asked for a second chance and has been noticing her very closely. Yet she does not respect his authority in her violent temper. He's too soft on her. I am dreading the "you're not my father" dialogue.

Babita and Minnie's relationship will degrade very badly because as we've all said there's too much toxicity and they need to do the amrit manthan, pata nahin kab. Perhaps Babita will have to learn the hard way and mature.

Aur jo Minnie ne HS ko hurt kiya? Are they ever going to address that? Or is it supposed to be water under the bridge?

Aur zeher to dekh hi rahe hein, par amrit ka ke?

Rather than saying their lives will change (which is understandable), the story line will change? Jeez.

Well the story is always changing. We can't expect it to remain stagnant. Just look at how much it has changed since its inception. Ashok coming home with Meeta, Babes & Minnie finding a new home, the divorce track, Babes & Minnie being tight on money, Babes getting a new job and then her catering service etc. etc. It's always changing and moving forward but the crux of it had been about women's emancipation. That central theme has gotten lost somewhere.

Going forward, I'm not sure what their focus will be. I would like to say it's HS since they haven't ever really delved into his backstory with a deep focus but I don't want to keep my hopes too high on that front.

Maybe it's Minnie's studies / choosing to live separately from Hanita? Again, who really knows.

Kuch to bawaal hone waala hai Minnie ke 18th birthday par. I really hope HS gets to wish her - celebration ki to umeed hi nahin hain.

Yahan pe har occasion par siyappe hote hain.

I was really hoping it would be about HS, but why would that need season 2? Would something happen in the uncovering of his past that ruins things?

I got the feeling that they mean a slightly different storyline. Like imagine in season 2 Babita is a divorcee, a single mother and Mini-Babita has been living independently for couple years now. Mini and Babita meet HS at a point where he has just lost Imarti and is in the worst state possible. They both come to live at HS’s Haveli as tenants for whatever reason and the story goes from there. Lol I don’t know if that makes sense 😂.

I don't think AD would do that.

Yeah, sadly there are people like him in real life who do so much for others but are neglected. Why put all three of them on the 201 episode cake, or give us those scenes of them sleeping on the balcony. They should have just ended it with the wedding and it would have made so much sense.

If they don't address his issues, I will be so mad because it's the same writers who presented them to us over and over again and got us hooked. Andar se jhanjhod diya humein, kitne aansoo roye hum HS ke saath, uski takleef ki waja se. They added the Imarti track not so long ago and got us even more invested than before in his pain, gave us the whole father-daughter angle and him finding a new hope in life. It was meant to be a second chance for him too, and a message to widowed people that they too have the right to move on and not live a lonely life after the death of their departed.

Frankly the mother-daughter story would have run out of steam without him. They are where they are because of him, especially Minnie, and after the mess Ashok left behind, the least we can get is some kind of closure.

I hate saying this but I'd rather HS and Babita divorce than live a miserable life with each other or see K-style silly separation tracks. It's just not worth it. Have the writers started watching GoT suddenly or something?

I guess the writers just don't care about him. They're too busy victimizing Minnie and making Babita into a villainous Mom. HS ko kaha se attention denge. 🤔

I'm coming to the point where we should just be thankful for whatever we got. Asking for anything else will be equivalent to asking for the moon and stars.

I don't want them to divorce because what message would that give not only to other divorced / widowed people out there, but also to the characters as well? That they were foolish to think they can have a second chance at life? That they're doomed to never have the bliss of a lifelong companion or someone to love and cherish them till they breath their last? That Babita can never have the bliss of having a healthy, functioning marriage, HS can't ever enjoy being a father, or Minnie have the saaya of both parents?

If this is what they wanted to show then what was the point of EVERYTHING they showed us so far??

Every action Minnie and Babita take somehow connect back to him, they don't seem to work in isolation, and the way their lives have been drastically altered since they met him, at this stage I don't see that either mother or daughter can even have a proper relationship with each other if he's not there to sort them out.

I have been waiting for him to step up as father and husband but if he goes the typical ML way where out of the blue he stops thinking and feeling like he used to, then neither AD nor the audience will like it. Not to mention, this is one of those rare ITV shows of this genre that has a huge male following too because of the character of HS. A lot of women like the character not just because they want a man like him but also because there has been just so much wisdom to pick up from his dialogues and thought process.

I would rather AD quit than play a cameo role or stand around like a showpiece. It would be an insult to his talent. Let's see how they sustain this. Aisa tha to HS ko itne dhain se dialogues aur arcs kyon diye?

I don't know about others, but I've been feeling low key angry and insulted seeing HS just stand at the back with little to say. Especially in that episode when Babita was apologizing to the SCs. 😳 As much as I love seeing Anirudh on screen, I want to see him act, not just stand there as a pretty face.

lol if they were going to show a divorce again, why the need for Hanita to get married??? Makes no sense. Also, what are they proving with this?? That 2nd marriage is a mistake and no one should even think about it. That kids suffer a lot in second marriage and mothers are negligent and step fathers can never be equal to “biological” fathers?!?! 🙄

Because in GoT, you can't trust what happens to characters. They make you invest in them and then get rid of them. Here they aren't killing the characters literally but are killing their essence.

Can you blame any of the audience, especially the recently-joined ones for thinking what you've written above? Aur kya conclusion nikalta hai iss sab ka?

They were experts at looking at human psychology and the delicate nature of emotions, but in the end they played with our psychology and emotions.

I just don't understand how they can have this exponential drop. Even with channel interference, the writing can't go from 100 to 0 in so few days. Success chad gayi hai kya dimaag pe?

Loll, nowadays a PB episode without some sort of siyappa doesn't seem like a PB episode anymore. 😆

I guess because the focus will shift mostly to HS and not Babes or Minnie?? I don't think anything will ruin things so dramatically. I mean, don't we know the broad strokes of his trauma by now? What other major secrets could he be hiding?

As I said a while ago, HS henpecked suit nahi karta. I have no problem with his behavior being mellowed as he bends over backwards for Babita (temporarily) because of his no more tears policy but this can only go on for a bit. Uske sabr ka baand kab tootega pata nahin. I would also love it if he gets mad at both mother and daughter because he is fed up of the kalesh at home and for a change let them try to pacify him.

I bet he's seeing a rehash of all the crap he saw at home during his childhood, and violence of all things with Minnie being slapped by Babita. I would have loved a scene where he physically stops Babita from hitting Minnie and has a major fight with her because of this. If Ashok is not allowed to hit his Veer Balika then why is Babita?
