Think she is going to use this role for her next step to join politics, BJP being the party. She will be influenced by Jayalalithaa and either consciously or unconsciously be like her in real life and some people may fall for the subliminal message of Jayalalithiaa=Kangana. Having Kangana, who is a big BJP supporter, in this sort of role of such an iconic politician might be used to garner more favor in TN, but whether they would succeed should that be the case I'm not too sure.
wow this is something new for her and I am really excited to see how she is going to transform. This is never done in Bollywood esp by an actress. Fantastic.
Kangana learning Bharatnatyam for Thalaivi, she isn't there yet completely but trying her best is her forte
South Star Arvind Swami To Play MGR In Jayalalithaa Biopic 'Thalaivi' Starring Kangana Ranaut By Aishwarya| Updated: Saturday, October 5, 2019, 16:33 [IST] If reports are to be believed, south star Arvind Swami will be playing the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran in the biopic of late TN CM J Jayalalithaa. Popular South director Vijay, will be directing the movie, which will be titled as "Thalaivi" in Tamil and "Jaya" in Hindi. The director is famed for his movies like "Madrasapattinam" and "Deiva Thirumagal". She is fondly referred to as 'Amma' (mother) and 'Puratchi Thalaivi', which means 'revolutionary leader'. Actor-turned politician MG Ramachandran, who was popularly known as MGR among his followers, had founded the political party, AIADMK, after quitting DMK in 1972. He managed to capture power in Tamil Nadu in 1977. He was a mentor to Jayalalithaa in her career in the entertainment industry as well as politics. After continuing as Chief Minister for Tamil Nadu for 10 consecutive years, he passed away on December 24, 1987. "MGR and Jayalalitha starred in 28 box-office hits between 1965 and 1973. While the makers needed a worthy actor to do justice to his role, another criterion was that the artiste be fluent in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Arvind satisfied both criteria," a source was quoted as saying in the Business Line. K V Vijayendra Prasad, who has written "Baahubali" and "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi", is penning 'Thalaivi', too. The film is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh under the banners of Vibri, and Karma Media and Entertainment. It is being said that Arvind Swami will start working on the film from November 15 onwards. Actor Kangana Ranaut will play the role of Jayalalithaa in the film.
She will never BE there...she is a poser not a dancer, so I suspect there is going to be a lot of camera play with no long pause or focus on technical movements, I predict a lot of close ups and a painful frame by frame take to create a flow with editing.Kangana learning Bharatnatyam for Thalaivi, she isn't there yet completely but trying her best is her forte

Thank you for your in-depth analysis. Looks like you are keeping a close eye on KR every move. Thank you.
Yes and I agree, she is not there yet, she needs more practice and perfection . Good that she is in training though. Lets see , dance is her weakness but trying hard is her forte so let's see how the end result is and camerawork is a blessing for many actors, use it.
Oh is it your job to thank people online for comments on her? I see... But, Please I do not deserve any credit. It is not my close eye on her oafish dancing talent, that is a worry, nor an encouragement. It is everyone else's and since she is always using her rigid yard stick to measure others, naturally they will all be interested, on her pirouettes. In reciprocity then, so too shall she be measured.Thank you for your in-depth analysis. Looks like you are keeping a close eye on KR every move. Thank you.
