Now u think she is suffocating then its her doing.. RB is ruthless.. everyone knows that.. but atleast he is not hypocrite... he upholds his end of bargain..

if u proclaim you are loyal.. then be loyal..

in Prernas defense, I don’t think it occurred to her that she’d be living with Anurag under the same roof even after she got married. It’s a lot harder to move on when you see the love of your life every single day, in the same house. I’m surprised Bajaj didn’t think to take Prerna away sooner. Which takes me to my next point. Will Bajaj uphold his part of the deal tho? Since he’s fallen for her, what actions and behaviors will we see from him? We already see that murder is an option for him. If Prerna rejects his feelings, will he still uphold his part of the deal? If he could murder someone, how will he express his disappointment and frustration on Prerna?

A marriage can be considered a marriage only when both the parties are involved in it because of their love and consent ....

What Bajaj-Prerna had was a Blackmail marriage ... where Prerna is still loyal to her part of the agreement....

So Can Bajaj and ppl stop imposing this so called Blackmail marriage restrictions on Prerna ...??

Prerna has already made clear what should be expected from her in this marriage.... if ppl still going ahead and keeping expectations then they are bound to get disappointed...

Nice post RS.

Prerna had made it very clear that her body & soul will always belong to Anurag & Bajaj was very much ok with it. Prerna is not breaking any deal. She has been very clear & very honest with Bajaj about her situation & feelings.

Bajaj broke his side of the deal though by trying to murder Anurag by deliberately causing the accident. According to their deal he was never supposed to harm Anurag.

I am absolutely loving this Prerna. I missed this Prerna, the one with the emotional strength and love in her. Her interaction with Anurag made me feel like she's just longing for someone to share the pain she's been putting herself through this whole time. No one knows about it but Anurag understands it nonetheless.

I also want to touch on Prerna's role in her marriage with Bajaj. If there were conditions put forth when two people married then it's not fair that there are high expectations that the marriage will uphold. The foundation of the marriage is a sham so anything built on that would just be wobbly at best. This marriage happened because two people needed something from each other. Before Bajaj and Prerna got married, they each told the other of a checklist of the things expected out of the marriage. Prerna wished that Anurag would be out of jail and Bajaj wanted Prerna's loyalty. The loyalty, at least at that time did strongly indicate that she would be Kuki's caretaker. Prerna is doing exactly what she's supposed to do, being Kuki's mother, even supporting Bajaj when she can, and most of the time hiding her pain and sadness about how she ended up in this marriage. Once again, Prerna had told Bajaj that her body and soul belonged to Anurag and Bajaj was A-okay with that, Prerna had told Bajaj they wouldn't have any real husband-wife relationship and Bajaj was A-okay with that, so the standard of their marriage should not be compared to one that's happened without any conditions. The marriage was situational so how can anyone expect Prerna to pretend like she's the perfect wife? Prerna is proving time and again that she is and will always be in love with Anurag. He understands her pain, the sadness in her eyes because he's the one that she was supposed to spend the rest of her life with. Today's episode just further solidified that.

The thread that connects Bajaj and Prerna is Kuki. Their relationship starts and ends with Kuki. It's funny that Bajaj assumes that if Anurag is out of the way then he will get Prerna and all will be right in the world. He's overlooking the fact that Prerna feels almost no emotional connection with Bajaj. The snippets we've seen of these two's "close moments" never indicated that Prerna feels something for Bajaj. And everytime Prerna has shown support to Bajaj, Kuki was the reason for it. Kuki needs her father. As her mother (eyeroll), Prerna wants Kuki to have her father in her life. The loyalty card is is at play here again. Prerna's loyalty is the maternal instinct/love she has for Kuki, not even for Bajaj tbh. Now I'm intrigued to see how Prerna handles her emotional needs vs the deal she's made with Bajaj.

Disclaimer: As always, this aint a war zone.

👍🏼

@music lover. I truly appreciate you making this post for a woman, though flawed and broken she is yet is admired. But when i read through the thread am totally flumoxed on the amount of hatred spit on the same woman. No wonder our society is still patriarchial and our thinking is conditioned too according to that.

So a woman should never be her own person?. Should never give into her feelings or express it?. Should always show validation according to societal norms ( which obviously is set by men) and rules even if her life is at stake?.

I have one question to one and all. There are millions of women all over the world who fawn over their crushes celebrities fantacize about them, even hug kiss and some share their lingerie as a momento. Are they all characterless?. Are they all disloyal to their respective partners?.

Here we are taking about a woman who connects to a man on emotional level. A man who understands her turmoil without her voicing nd put his life at risk to get a reaction from her. When he breaks through her defences nd have a moment of closeness with the woman doesnt make her characterless. It is not like she slept with him after her deal marriage.

Most of our indian marriages are arranged. Not all of the women jump into sharing their feelings with the new husband. You take time adjusting to the new life nd go bk to your bff nd cousins to share ur thoughts and feelings until u develop the trust on the person u married. Is that EMA according to you all?.

The deal marriage doesnt talk abt emotional connect or performing wifey duties. It only states her to be a loyal baby sitter. You cannot keep adding clauses to your deal nd start working towards it without the knowledge of the other person involved and play murder games with the person on whose life u built the deal. Its backstabbing nd a crime.

And if still the forum calls a woman characterless, am so disappointed with the current generation and their way of thinking. Its like when you bleed its blood and when others bleed its a ketchup. Hypocrisy much.

My thoughts exactly!! put in very lucid words!!! ..Prerna is upholding her end of the deal in her sham marriage with Bajaj - being kuki's mother - even Anurag acknowledged how happy she is when she is around kuki ..and that just proves how strongly her loyalty toward her caretaker role is being upheld by her - now if Bajaj's heart longs for Prerna - too bad for him ..love cannot be forced or demanded or earned by eliminating anything that comes in the way of something you yearn for ..it is a two way street ..and clearly in B's case he's on a dead end street .. Prerna has already told Bajaj that her heart and body and soul belongs only to Anurag ..heck he's the only one who even knows she's slept with Anurag ..so he knows how much he means to her ..and she made it clear as part of her deal that things would remain that way only even after marriage .. so too bad if Bajaj is unable to hold on to his end of the deal ..

i think it's high time Prerna has a meltdown and reveals to Anurag why exactly and how exactly she was made to agree to marry Bajaj ..and how she decided to accept that marriage for the sake of kuki ..she owes it to Anurag .. she should also tell him that she's carrying his child .. we need some good solid revelations now ..so bring it in on CVs ..this durga puja let the truth prevail ..and like the right win over the wrong!

say it again for the people in the backkkk lol

Yes yes yes! And even though I get upset at Prerna, I’d never say things about her that aren’t true or fair. Prerna has a habit of sacrificing her happiness and life for other people. A lot of us got very upset that she’s willing to do this when so many options are still open for her to pursue. Others are using this sentiment to prove that she chose the life with bajaj and that if Prerna wanted to she could have easily not accepted the deal. Now, Prerna realizes that she actually did mess up and that she can’t live without Anurag and wants to step away from the decision she’s made, people still have a problem with it. PRERNA IS ALLOWED TO CHANGE HER MIND!!! How many times have we changed our minds about the decisions in our life, imagine if we were called 500 names for realizing our mistakes and trying to mend it? Imagine being called names for having emotional breakdowns? Wow I can’t relate to people thinking Prerna is characterless at all.

+100

Prernas words were explicit and the child in her womb was an implicit testimony that her body, heart and soul will always belong to Anurag. She only signed for loyalty to Bajaj and he was okay with it then. By being Kuki's mother and a glorified nanny, Pre is bestowing Bajaj with more loyalty than what she has signed for since Bajaj conveniently never mentioned Kuki's welfare as a part of deal.

@ Bold : And also by falling for Prerna which never was a clause/condition on his side of the deal.

if we do the whole “should have” thing then Bajaj shouldn’t have put such a shitty deal in front of her at all.

What do you mean he didn’t? He sped up his car and hit Anurag. He wanted to murder him, and we’ve gotten a couple of confessions out of Bajaj since then.

Yeah you’re right about the bold part. It’ll be interesting to see how his frustrations are translated when Prerna is on the receiving end.
