I LOVE this Prerna - Page 11

Characterless is a huge word and Prerna doesn't fall under the category of characterless women, not at least for me. I admit, she is a super confused soul and she doesn't stick by the decisions she takes but I would take that as a character flaw. Besides, there is a lot of emotional disturbances inside her which cannot be neglected. Sure, I do not like her failing in deciding stuff for herself and doing justice to whatever she chooses but I still cannot accept she being a characterless woman. No matter how much dislike grows in my mind for her, this is not something I can agree to.

And Sorry to disappoint you, but S1 Bajaj had a proper redemption track and not the Asian paints whitewashing that S2 Bajaj faced before turning him into a psycho.

I brought in season1 only because Pre's actions so far is said to be irredeemable by the above poster. And correct me if I am wrong did Bajaj1 ever own up to his action in this regard to Anu or Pre ever....I certainly don't remember it.

It's always interesting to read views diametrically opposite to yours.

Not singling out Prerna here,IMO this whole drama is cheap and tawdry and third class.

Bajaj is so happy being cuckolded ,he is never going to move out of Basu house.

His obsession for Prerna stopped making any sense a while ago.

Anurag and Prerna have no idea about the concept of maryada, honour or boundaries.

But as your post suggests ,the makers of this show clearly know their audience.

I am just glad that she is expressing and is not dead emotionally. Deals r conditional and ideally the deal is already violated when bajaj hit anu even if she doesnt know abt it yet.

I had said this long back tht prerna trapped in this marriage but the signs of these bondages will never leave her. She is scarred for life.

She was vocal abt her expectations from this marriage and wht she may be able to offer. She has been facing the brunt of everyone's anger directed towards her. Her mom also had left her side. Worst she was dragged back to basu badi... For what? For making her the witness to the pyre of her own dreams? How long wud she stand?

I wish she does some SWOT analysis on the pros and cons of telling A the truth. Don't tell him - he goes planning his own accidents. Tell him the truth - he'll hate Bajaj, which he already does, he'll be desperate to get her back, which he already is. He'll be less curious about her majboori, which he should be. Describing her emotions and all is okay, but the truth would give A a stronger base. And B a stronger ground for retaliation.

she is pathetic...just tell the truth to bajaj n divorce him legally do whatever you want with your soulmate after divorce...

wow I didn't expect this thread to be what it became but I gotta reply at least once lol.

I saw the word "characterless" thrown around quite a bit, so I will start with that. Characterless is really a cheap word to use to describe any woman, let alone Prerna. Prerna is a human with emotions and sometimes she can say I married Bajaj for money and try to deflect peoples opinions of her and sometimes she sits alone in her room and talks to herself about how she has no one she can express her feelings to. I don't think she can talk to her family either, because then she's not being loyal to Bajaj. Her family won't just be like "Ohhhhhh thats why you married him, alright, keep doing what you're doing", theyll do everything in her power to get her out of this mess.

Prerna is playing tug of war with her heart and her deal to Bajaj. She is sad and depressed and when she gets a chance to be happy, aka be around Anurag, she takes it. She is soooo at ease with Anurag and you can't blame her because he's the love of her life. Anurag knows her and understands her like no one else does.

Her marriage with Bajaj, although a wedding occurred and in the traditional sense theyre married, is at the end of the day holds no merit. They married for a reason, like it happened literally like a business transaction. You can argue that Prerna knew what she was getting into but there was coercion of some type involved. No, Bajaj didnt twist her arm but he did give her an impossible choice. The options were between a rock and a hard place. So when she does agree, all her relations took a hit from a her decision. She was alone, she felt alone and Bajaj had the audacity to say that she can share her problems with him. HA. Prerna playing house with Bajaj while she is immensely heartbroken, her family trashing her, Anurags family cursing her, was literally the worst to witness. Imagine living that. And on top of that Bajaj had such a big ego that instead of taking Prerna away from the heartbreak, he took her in the same house she was supposed to live in after she married Anurag.

After all that transpired, Prerna not being able to stay away from the one person who understands how she's feeling is not that insane. Prerna reminiscing and feeling nostalgic about her feelings is fair. Prerna overcoming with so much emotions that she feels weak in the knees that she lets Anurag wipe her tears is fair. Prerna giving no second thoughts to Bajaj about any type of feelings towards him is fair. She is not a characterless woman when her husband brings her to her ex-fiances house and expects her to sit in a corner and only look after Kuki and not talk about Anurag. Prerna needs to talk about her feelings, Bajaj told her she could share her problems with him, but stops her from talking about Anurag. Anurag is affecting her so if she doesn't talk about him, her emotions will be expressed one way or another. And she shouldn't be blamed for the expression since it's the only way she'll deal with the pain.

I have always loved Prerna for who she is. Her actions may be infuriating and foolish most of the times to certain people, but she is definitely all heart. 💖 No wonder Anurag loves her so much! And time to time other people also keep falling in love with her. 😆 The only gripe I have with the makers is they completely skip on projecting Pre's emotions to the audience for the sake of their wobbly story.

I really feel pity for her at the moment. Ever since marrying Bajaj, she has endured everything all alone. Even the one person who knows the full truth and now claims to love her does not really understand her. She has only ever opened her heart to Anurag and I'm happy she did that today. The dam had to burst some day.

I loved how she was so happy seeing Kaka Babu recovering and couldn't help sharing her happiness with Anu. I also loved the Prerna they showed in the flashback one year ago, happy and fooling around. She would never deliberately hurt anyone for her selfish reasons and certainly deserves all the happiness. BUT, show will finish if she is happy! So let the roller coaster ride continue🥳

that's the problem. she's acting as a loyal wife and peet peeche doing emotional EMA with soulmate. isn't it pathetic. instead of doing these pathetic acts, she should stand for herself and reveal the truth, break all the ties with DEAL husband and go back to soulmate. have some respect girl and break the marriage for once and all.

If you cant uphold your part of bargain then dont do it first place.. she should have figured out how to rescue A without help of RB..

she even had chance after A was out of jail.. she didnt take that chance..
