I don't see the point of this article. 🤔 He probably was trying to be transparent about his relationship and trying to show hes a good husband who understands his wife but this sounds like he is a horrible person who despite knowing the truth is living in a world of delusion. He feels that Mira had dreams? I mean didn't he ask her about that? Didn't he try to help her fulfil them? The least he could do was be supportive and not burden her with the responsibility of being a mother! What was the rush anyways? And nothing has ended too. They still have a lot of time. Instead of blaberring such things, he should try to help her out to fulfil her dreams whatever they are. She's still young. I'm sure they can handle her having a career.

if mira had dreams and desires then why didn't shahid fullfill those dreams? even after marriage those goals and dreams can happen, instead he is saying that once she got married she had to sacrifice everything else and just become a wife and mother, i mean they cud have waited to have kids aswell, but he is making it seem like marrying him meant she had to have kids quickly

I don't think being married or having children means the end of dreams for anyone. Especially not for these ultra rich people who will still hire an army of nannies to take care of their children even if they are sitting at home with no work. So marriage and being a mother changes nothing. Kareena is still living her dream cause she chose to. Aishwarya chose to take a break and be with her daughter. So all these women made a choice. I don't believe Mira was any different. She chose to marry Shahid and she chose to be a mother. If she has dreams she has all the resources in the world to fulfill them. If Shahid doesn't want her to fulfill her dreams then this stupid interview should be an eye-opener for her.

I don’t believe, Mira is some bechari, abla naari as portrayed by the forum. She was from rich family, had her share of fun before, knew what she was getting into. She was not an innocent girl who did not know what marriage is, what motherhood is.

She does not belong to a generation or class where girls where decisions are imposed. She “chose” that life, as she felt comfortable.

But may be she underestimated the challenges motherhood brings (specially two children). She might be demanding extra attention. This makes Shahid realise their age gap. (Once Saif also said before Taimur was born. He has three children, Sarah, Ibrahim and Kareena). Shahid probably wants Mira to get engaged in something, so that she stops demanding for attention. He is just saying it in a twisted way.

then she shud do something, coz shahid is making it look like she wants all of his attention, coz tbh all she does is attend parties, ramp walks, photoshoots with shahid, she doesn't have a career or a name for herself, she tags along with shahid to be in the spot light

and yeh it does seem like shahid is realising the effects of their age difference, he even said sometimes they are the best of friends and sometimes they don't understand each other, and maybe having kids so young is also having an effect on mira, she must feel like she wants to do more in her life

I wish Shahid would just act and never open his mouth. Why is he trying to gain sympathy for his wife. She is a lazy gold digger who wanted to marry up and you are an insecure man who wanted a young, malleable girl.

He is just being realistic. This happens in most arranged mrgs. They take time to understand each other..Learn together and grow together. Most of the girls step into arranged mrgs in their early 20s. I personally feel when u meet someone and u feel it's right go for it.

Here Mira felt Shahid was right for her. She wanted early kids to have a settled family early on and then follow her dreams..Didn't Gauri, Twinkle or Suzanne do the same?

Sometimes I feel the earlier u marry the more adaptable u r. After a certain age u r used to a certain lifestyle, have set notions and find it difficult to compromise. And each and every mrg requires some amount of compromise
