Bajaj to me today seemed like this character from LOTR "GOLLUM" who steals this ring which DOES NOT belong to him. The other character was Frodo who GOT the ring but was more than ready to part with it in the end for the larger good.

In today' psychotic acting for Bajaj' need of family all i could hear was this noise "My precious" of Gollum trying to complete family with members which does NOT belong to him by stealing it/ hook or crook/ deal/ blackmail. Where does this end? Mother-in-law, Brother-in-law next or some other member perhaps!

In this case i also see P who could have had her own family with A and their child being bought in a deal to complete Bajaj' own family which cannot be condoned.

The inherent evil cannot be side stepped even if there was evil past of which it is reflection.

An eye for another eye DOES NOT heal the world.

For me , RB is now like Maya of Beyhadh. Evil, ruthless, psychotic ... Because of parental abuse.

But Anurag bhi kaunsa dhoodh ka dhula hai. Did he know about baj's plan? Anu ne toh baj Ko jhoote case mein fasaane ka pura bando bast kar rakha tha.

Anurag did engage in criminal conspiracy. He is wrong. Bajaj-no comments. He is Scary and psychotic

Poor prerna😭 dono aadmi pagal hai

@Bold1: I just tried to give you non ITV comparison which instantly sprung in my mind.

If you look deeper the comparisons in today' episode for Bajaj with Gollum on so many levels that instantly came up:

*The tendency to forcefully acquire what is NOT own

* Justifying it with how world was NOT fair to him

*The Making of faces

*The charade of goodness in front of family which borders on Split Personality Disorder with 2 faces when sometimes he is Gollum (evil) and sometimes Smeagol(good). In the same episode we see this switch which shall become common EXACTY how gollum used to do!

* Many more if you start analysing

@Bold2: Frankly after seeing today' Bajaj; Anurag seems like Juvenile convict thrown in the same cell as hardened criminal

I agree! Anurag actually looks like a juvenile criminal in front of ruthless Bajaj.

Bajaj knows manipulation , Anurag is new to it. He is just learning.

But both are clearly obsessed with wanting Prerna for himself and they can't go to any extent for it.

well after this A gets the reason to fight for security of his loved ones (read P) considering criminal psychopathic nature of Bajaj like NB Track who he has seen going to extent of murdering some one, him knowing P loves him or not becomes secondary question!

If he does it it will be only logical, his methods should echo his original nature trying to win by goodness rather than stooping to Criminal acts like Bajaj..That will be true win for A' character

On lighter note going back to analogy...P could be as being predicted like Frodo full of goodness in this track who is not going to believe however hoarse Sam (read A) cries foul about gollum (read B)

😊

Absolutely not! More than a bit of a stretch. Gollum because a creature that he was because he succumbed to the desires of greed and need for power, the power of the ring. Lord of the rings is about how the powers of ring controls peoples mind and alters their mind and make them regress to their animalistic desires. In LOTR 2 that was clearly played out when Gollum talked about who he was before the ring came into his life. This is also true with Bilbo Baggins and even with Frodo himself where the powers of the cal of the ring became too much to bare and they let it over power them. The only person that wasn’t affected was Samwise Gamgie who I thought was the real hero of the movie. He was absolutely pure in heart already knew his limitations and was the type of individual who would die for his friend which he proved over and over again.

Coming back to RB I think it is better to compare him to the character of SRK in Baazigar. A man who would kill for revenge and for the love of his mother. He would have killed Kajal too if need be. He saw nothing other than the pain and suffering that was caused on himself and his mother. Not saying his actions were justified but understandable.

Bajaj doesn’t care about money or power, in this chapter of his like, he has attained all of that. He is here for a personal vendetta and to cause some real lasting pain. Something made Bajaj the way that he is, we know absolutely nothing about Bajaj, other than what he has made us privy to. He was abused as a child, that much is clear. It is clinically proven that those who were abused, a high percentage of them will become the abuser and some of them will turn narcissistic, ergo Bajaj. I am not saying that people who grow up in an environment of abuse is justified in their misdeeds, but to a point it makes sense and it is understandable.

Humans are flawed we all have grey steaks, it just takes the right amount of pressure for someone to snap and go left, just like Anurag showed that it is possible. See the difference between Anurag and Bajaj is that Anurag already lost Prerna he is still trying to win her back when she isn’t going anywhere. Bajaj will never let Anurag take her away from him, now that he is in love. Now, if Prerna wants to leave, that is a different scenario. I think he feels that the love he has for his mother is now equal to the love that he has for mother of his child. He said himself that love makes you stupid and do crazy things.

Having said all that, you also have to remember nothing is truly a surprise here, he said he only lets people see in him what he feels the need for them to see. Let’s see what happens, we are not seeing the big picture as of yet.

My take was only on episode today on how it made look Bajaj like and it was gollum like..Surely the reasons of why they turned out to be were different but it only matter of SHADES as it called.

Gollum may have done it for Self due to greed and power while Bajaj for self and family together again for greed! For me family cannot justify this vile act more so when it is pitted against another family of P, A and their child. In real life also all criminal or abused people indulge in selfish/ criminal acts but they cannot be given free pass because they are doing it for their family.

It is even more macabre to think the relation P has for child has something to do with his past relationship with his mother unless something of that is really shown, so not worth speculating now.

In real life scenario also where you mentioned abusers; such people then need treatment or healing by rehab NOT going on mission to abuse others condition. As i mentioned an eye for eye does not heal the world.

The worst thing that audience/ non-abusers is to give hooting to the destruction he has unleashed on others and justify it for family as many posts are doing..The reference is clearly due to today' episode, let us see how it develops.
