Bajaj to me today seemed like this character from LOTR "GOLLUM" who steals this ring which DOES NOT belong to him. The other character was Frodo who GOT the ring but was more than ready to part with it in the end for the larger good.
In today' psychotic acting for Bajaj' need of family all i could hear was this noise "My precious" of Gollum trying to complete family with members which does NOT belong to him by stealing it/ hook or crook/ deal/ blackmail. Where does this end? Mother-in-law, Brother-in-law next or some other member perhaps!
In this case i also see P who could have had her own family with A and their child being bought in a deal to complete Bajaj' own family which cannot be condoned.
The inherent evil cannot be side stepped even if there was evil past of which it is reflection.
An eye for another eye DOES NOT heal the world.
Absolutely not! More than a bit of a stretch. Gollum because a creature that he was because he succumbed to the desires of greed and need for power, the power of the ring. Lord of the rings is about how the powers of ring controls peoples mind and alters their mind and make them regress to their animalistic desires. In LOTR 2 that was clearly played out when Gollum talked about who he was before the ring came into his life. This is also true with Bilbo Baggins and even with Frodo himself where the powers of the cal of the ring became too much to bare and they let it over power them. The only person that wasnāt affected was Samwise Gamgie who I thought was the real hero of the movie. He was absolutely pure in heart already knew his limitations and was the type of individual who would die for his friend which he proved over and over again.
Coming back to RB I think it is better to compare him to the character of SRK in Baazigar. A man who would kill for revenge and for the love of his mother. He would have killed Kajal too if need be. He saw nothing other than the pain and suffering that was caused on himself and his mother. Not saying his actions were justified but understandable.
Bajaj doesnāt care about money or power, in this chapter of his like, he has attained all of that. He is here for a personal vendetta and to cause some real lasting pain. Something made Bajaj the way that he is, we know absolutely nothing about Bajaj, other than what he has made us privy to. He was abused as a child, that much is clear. It is clinically proven that those who were abused, a high percentage of them will become the abuser and some of them will turn narcissistic, ergo Bajaj. I am not saying that people who grow up in an environment of abuse is justified in their misdeeds, but to a point it makes sense and it is understandable.
Humans are flawed we all have grey steaks, it just takes the right amount of pressure for someone to snap and go left, just like Anurag showed that it is possible. See the difference between Anurag and Bajaj is that Anurag already lost Prerna he is still trying to win her back when she isnāt going anywhere. Bajaj will never let Anurag take her away from him, now that he is in love. Now, if Prerna wants to leave, that is a different scenario. I think he feels that the love he has for his mother is now equal to the love that he has for mother of his child. He said himself that love makes you stupid and do crazy things.
Having said all that, you also have to remember nothing is truly a surprise here, he said he only lets people see in him what he feels the need for them to see. Letās see what happens, we are not seeing the big picture as of yet.
