Hello friends đ¤
Like every year, I had decided NOT to watch BB ... but like always I could not resist watching the new premiere once again ... đłđ Well, I'm glad I did cos it ended up being much better than my expectations. This season has good potential if executed properly.
For the initial 1 hour or something it was indeed a cringe-fest with some of the contestants' OTT wannabe-ish behavior and the usual buttering overdose of his highness almighty Salman Khan.... But after Mahira made Asim her bhai, things suddenly changed for the better.
Anyways based on my first impressions i think -
- Siddhart Dey bahut dimag chalayega... like group banana... planning plotting bitching karna types...playing behind the scenes wala banda...
- Abu Malik thoda mature person hai... but also a bit confused, unaware soul and a child at heart ( a contrast of sorts). he knows how to play with people but doesnt seem malicious at heart and can be funny sometimes ....
- Paras is quite cocky and i think will have a lots of fights & arguments.
- Asim, on the other hand, .... was pretentious & irritating as hell when he made his entry but episode khatam hote hote mujhe uspe taras aane lag gaya tha. He is young and obviously quite immature....and has already become a butt of jokes.... but aisa bhi ho sakta hai ki aage jaa ke logon ki sympathy bhi mil jaye....
- Everyone's Fav Siddharth Shukla seems like a decent sorted person but it can all be a facade.... time will tell....but for now I like him.
- Same with Koena Mitra. She seems like a no-nonsense person. Very practical and mature...and also down to earth. I'm liking her too.
- Daljeet will gather a lot of sympathy ...but everything abt her seems so sweet and cute.... that's a danger signal for me. She's obviously a very mature, intelligent, sympathetic, compassionate, helping, emotional and down to earth person but i think people WILL still have problems with her later on... for some of her own doings.
- Mahira - I loved her responses and the choices she made. She seems intelligent, witty and street smart. I'm counting on her to lagao mirch masala and tadka in the show.
- The news anchor girl - ummm.... not so much expectations rights now.
- Debolina seems very shrewd and will definitely play games and politics. But I'm not liking her too much based on my first impressions... she seems like jealous 'jal-kukdi' types...who'll do lot of bitching behind backs.
- Rashmi seems more interesting.... she might give spontaneous & explosive reactions and can also play behind the scenes....seems like an interesting character to observe.
- Finally that Punjabi Katrina kaif - I laughed hard when she said 'Chal Paras' and seeing Paras's reaction...đ but other than that she seems very irritating trying to act like a bholi bachhi.... she reminds me of Lokesh kumari from season 10.
- and Finally, Krushna's sister....she also seems interesting...but at the moment I'm not sure how well she might play....right now I'm okay with her....she might not go very far.
Okay episode dekhne ke baad ye the mere observations aur first impressions.... tell me about yours - Batao Batao đ
Edit - I will be updating here my opinions about contestants to see how they match up with my initial impressions. Hope Mods wont mind if this thread keeps popping up now and then.
