Someone here mentioned silent voters from KA for Sherin and quoted Spoorthi winning SSJ as an example. Enakkum antha season neraiya doubts irunthathu. For the longest time VijayTV used to make other state people as winners perhaps to appease their internal crew (the owner plus most hosts/judges are not native Tamilians). Then they tried making amends by hyping select native Tamil contestants at the risk of putting down certain other good Tamil contestants (poor Anushya was subject to harsh criticism by the judges in her season). End of the day show would want TV material people their side and move the coins accordingly. In BiggBoss they silently do it through promos and specific editing cuts.
