On the question of love and chastity-

How do people equate being a virgin to being in love? Isnt it hypocritical, especially in closed knit societies?

Why should the burden of being chaste be fulfilled by only the women? Dont men fall under that purview?

Yes, if people want to preserve themselves for the special one, its purely out of choice and not a compulsion.

And, it shouldn't be imposed or sought, it should only be endured out of love, for both men and women.

Which brings me to the question of innate thoughtfulness, why was Khushi and ASR's chastity equated to their love, and was a hot topic of discussion, to begin with ?

Any thoughts on this ??
