Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the popular Star Plus show produced by Director’s Kut has seen the entry of lawyer Damini Mishra (Payal Nair) who will handle the custody battle case from Kartik’s side.

After taking up the case, Damini will want to meet Naira (Shivangi Joshi) as she will want to know the mother’s words and thoughts.

She will ask Kartik to bring Naira to her office.

This will lead up to Kartik and Naira going to Damini’s office. However they will take little Kairav along.

As per a reliable source, “Kairav will wonder where they have come and what is happening in Kartik and Naira’s lives. He will have so many doubts and Naira will get really uncomfortable to think of the possibility of Kairav learning about the custody battle.”

However due to Damini’s insistence of meeting Naira, she will wait with Kairav to meet Damini.

What will happen now?

This is nonsense because Karthik's lawyer has no business meeting Naira. This lawyer can only communicate with her lawyer. Writers are making their own dumb rules. Her interests are in doing what's best for Karthik. She is not a mediator.

That i think is kind of true. Because payal mam's vlog was about how all three kaira and kairav were seated in the same car....and thus i think this is true..

Because payal is playing a powerful role...i hope she turns out positive...we cant handle any more negativity.

I also saw these on instagram. Naira is literally pleading not to do it. She has repeatedly said please kartik dont do it. But he has a ego.

Also naira becoming her own lawyer was not true...naksh hired damini ( kartiks lawyer) as she is the best but kartik got to her first. You can see all the scenes on instagram

I dont understand him living with surekha and not his mother all thoese years ... and hating his father didnt give him enough proof that if he does the same with kairav...how will he even live with himself ? Chi man....kya hogya hai ye.

It's a conflict of interest to have one lawyer represent both parties. She is supposed to be Karthik's lawyer so she will defend Karthik in helping him get custody. Who is protecting Naira's rights? She needs her own lawyer who will fight the case against Karthik's lawyer. Expecting writers to have common sense is being too optimistic. Hope the trp becomes less than 1.0. Divorce and custody is not entertainment.

I think this will give people false ideas about divorce and child custody. Usually a child that young is not brought into a court room. Everything is handled by lawyers and maybe once as a formality they go to court. Both lawyers work on settlement agreements to separate assets and come up with a mutual agreed upon custody agreement. Preference is given to the mother for primary custody of the child and father gets visitation. Looks like they plan on showing a very ugly divorce and custody battle. In most cases men have no interest in getting primary custody because they want to move forward in their life and remarry and forget about the first wife and child. I think they want to show a case of the powerful Goenka's and how their influence effects the case.
