Today again this problem of comparison came up in SNDN in the mega audition. We had that lady who used to sing in an orchestra (her husband was on the keyboards...... don't know her name) getting selected easily and then was followed by a kid in the first standard (looked like she is being groomed for monitor's role). Where is the comparison between these two?

BTW, did you hear that girl Akshaya Iyer? I had mentioned about her during the local auditions. She was brilliant even today with her lavani.

How about a separate thread for SNDN now that it is starting in full swing.

Kids usually get in a lot of TRP. They have upper hand in cuteness. So there will be balance of both.

But if it is cuteness versus singing ability then it becomes just an entertainment programme and not a serious reality show. Remember that Sangeet Samrat or something like that where we had vocalists, instrumentalists, singing groups, dance bands all performing against each other and the judges deciding who is better. How can apples and oranges be compared?

All of a sudden alongwith zm,zee yuva and colors marathi r coming with awards.

i can understand that zee yuva is just 3 years old channel,so its okay that they had taken 3 years to come with their individual channel awards although,its zm' sbaby.

bt what abt colors marathi,before it ,it was etv marathi and almost as old as zm

now almost 4 years r over ,that viacom had overtaken it and and now it is cm

bt for all these years,what channel was doing,even ,in these 4 years, they never came with any award function,only their serials were considered for maharashtra times awards

then how come now ,this year, they r coming with their own awards when actually ,they dont have any nonfictional shows running except sndn which is just startred,with bb season 2 over.no cookery show,even that harshada khanvilkar show is also over.

and then in all this mess,why star pravah is nowhere?

I think there should be a single TV awards for all channels . Mata sanman does not publicise the award much. Also channels don't use Mata sanman to promote their shows . There is a place for unbiased TV awards for Marathi shows.
