What the hell was tonight's episode all about?

It was an INSULT ARORAS FEST.. .. Kareena insulting Sarla, Preeta and her family....Sherlyn insulting Preeta, Sarla and her family... Dadi siding with Sherlyn and trying to insult Sarla.... 22 mins of just insulting the mother daughter duo.. Even if Sarla was trying to fight them, argue with them, stand up for her daughter... It was falling on deaf ears...

What's the point of talking to people who can't respect girls/daughters irrespective of which class they belong to?

And what the hell happened to Preeta since when did she become such a weakling? So what if Sarla curses Karan.. . He deserves that and more.... She should be asking her mother to curse him sone more or rather she should be doing it as well but instead she goes all softie... Where is the woman who used to call out Karan on his bullshit?

Yes, a very disappointing and irritating episode. All the Luthra women went mad and lost their dignity.

Yeah the funniest part is Kareena is insulting Sarla again and again and all Sarla's reply is *tears* you will know when this happens to your daughter *tears.

This is the problem with ITV. In TV series in the west, all struggle to be together is BEFORE wedding whereas the wedding itself is almost ALWAYS a happy occasion. However here its a mockery.

Sorry if I am with some guy and my memory of our wedding is him brutally humiliating and leaving me in the middle of the road, I'll be damned before I see his sorry face.

People on SM are putting pics of how Karan is ALSO in pain which although they may not intend is basically excusing this pathetic behaviour.

People are making STUPID ASS excuses on Karan's behalf. Karan ne toh aajtak aisa kuch nahi kaha, lekin uske fans toh uske gungaan gaate thak nahi rahe hai.... very disturbing.

I also wanted Preeran and genuinely i was prepared for the revenge wedding trope but I did not imagine they would do it in this manner. Had they done this in private after he took him home, where he told her he lied lalala that would still be absolutely bad but this was on some other level with her running after him and him taunting her. I have not seen this level reached in any show or maybe I do not watch enough ITV.

No you are right, usually Ekta itna neechay nahi girati apne hero's ko. However, similar scene happened to Anika and Shivay in Ishqbaaz, but the context of that is/was completely different from Kundali Bhagya. PREETA and KARAN were BEST-FRIENDS, for God sake!!!!!

And that is the saddest part isn't it? What was shown was exactly what people joke, mock, make memes, make posts and signatures about - ' Women are each others greatest enemies' ..It was that very idea.

The scene had only women.....no men, no kids nothing just WOMEN and not one except perhaps a feeble voiced Rakhi expressed guilt over what Karan did. Sure they hate Preeta and in Ekta's world doing all the crap that they did makes for GREAT TV (PUKE...PUKE...PUKE) but Kareena herself is the mother of a girl and even CLASS can't help her if this were to happen to her daughter....but none of them could empathize with Sarla or Preeta.

Even if it is true that 'We're our own worst enemies', instead of cashing in on this reality why can't we have an opposite outlook EVER at least through such shows that run for years and unfortunately has the power to influence society??

Why can't the Luthra Women gang up against Karan for what he did to Preeta instead of applauding him? Apparently Ekta just became the most powerful female in INDIA ----Sad that the title lies with a person who influenced an entire generation, has the power to do it again and this time the right way but WON'T !

I don't watch serials regularly but I get updated through promos and social media. I heard about the revenge marriage track. I started reading the views here. Mostly, I really feel disappointed with the Female Leads. They don't show self respect. They should respect themselves and get respect from others. The way these serials portray female lead's character was too disappointing. I really hope Preeta should show how a strong woman reacts. And I really don't want her to go to Luthra's house and start saying Mere Pati Mere Pati Mere Parivar. Why can't they show a girl standing up for herself and giving it back to her husband. Husband character can treat Wife however they want. It is allowed in serials. And wife character should stay silent. I really get irritated with the portrayal.
