Tamasha & Guzaarish Absolutely LOVED these two. PS: Swades was a flat flop despite been overloaded with all kinds of social messages & patriotism from start till end. Hence we can't swiftly discredit others' social patriotic films like this.

That's because back then those types of slow content driven movies didn't do well..even if they had patriotism. People preferred the OTT action focused patriotism movies like Gadar

If Swades came out now it would be a huge success..those types of movies are what's trendy now

Brothers was quite an embarrassment compared to Warriors and deserved to be flop.

Sid Mal, playing a role played by Tom Hardy, for that only movie deserved to flop.

I never watched the original movie, is it that good? Tom Hardy is a great actor

This film is horrendous, it didn't even deserve to be released in cinemas. One of my most dissatisfying theatre experiences.

Original was outstanding, the only things good in the remake was Akki's acting, some action scenes and Sapna Jahan song. And Jacqueline for the first time was okay.

Sid was so fcuked up, he was trying too hard still failed to.give even a decent performance, and could get anything right, and in the ring, he sucked too, especially given how hard Tom had worked, while Sid no doubt worked hard on his body, he looked quite pale when fighting as Akki seemed like a pro, while Sid was like yeah, I am there.

And he wasn't the main problem, the problem was a movie like Warrior was adapted, very great but it was directed by a Chutia like Karan Malhotra.

Yeah Sid was the weak link for sure, he is a lackluster actor in general. I liked the overall story and Akshay's performance though. At least better than his past few movies which are so safe and predictable that they become a chore to watch

Will definitely check out the original
