Tiger isn't bad at all, he dances much better than many of his contemporaries but Hrithik is Hrithik. In all departments.

In some parts, Tiger seemed to dance 'faster' but Hrithik was so much at ease and much more graceful which made him so much more fun to watch. He's natural, very handsome and enjoying himself which, for me at least, kept my eyes glued to him. He danced like he had nothing to prove, he was just being there and dancing his heart out, while Tiger at some places seemed too technical and gymnast. Hrithik was like wind, he has charm, screen presence, there's this flow in the way he moves ❤️

Tiger may not be bad but he definitely seemed to be super conscious...I dont remember who said it(I think it was Pankaj Tripathi?) but a good performance is the one when the performer is at the present and completely loses consciousness of everything else...

I wont judge Tiger though, because its simply impossible to notice anyone else when Hrithik is dancing in the same frame....

EDIT: After two times the song definitely did grow on me and now it is all I have been playing since the past hour or so...On the big screen it is going to be a feast for our eyes....A blockbuster for sure!

I didn’t like Tigers tricks - never have.

But the part where both danced together - tiger did it better. His arms stretched out more and chest was more fluid. It’s not about speed please watch

He may have better flexibility...so?

I find that when Hritik dances it is so effortless and smooth. It's like second nature to him. As simple as walking. Even in this song, Hritik makes the dance seem so simple and that's what makes it so easy on the eyes.

Tiger is a good dancer but really he's more about the acrobats. He's also putting in so much effort to appear smooth and compete with Hritik which is quite visible. This holds him back from being a good performer.

The song itself is meh but what makes it good is the dance competition between Hritik and Tiger though Hritik takes the cake immediately just from his entry. The makers of this movie don't care about the story or the songs. They already have a hit formula: Hritik vs. Tiger. Guru vs. shishya in a way. And here guru is winning hands down.

Now after watching it 3-4 times, I am thinking it could be a part of the screenplay that they wanted to make Tiger come across as competing and trying hard to impress/win over his Guru? Because the steps that were given to him were making him look like he was trying too hard while the steps that were given to HR were making him look like he was confident, effortless and fluid!

Tiger’s dance as an individual looks good cos of over energetic but compare With hrithik’s Moves which are So fine and subtle Tigers looks so over the top..

Yeah, I understand that. It's choreographers. But, I felt, he has added his own step in between so yeah, a wise choreographer wouldnt make same step to bore audience but it wasnt too much of so it looks okayish.

I agree with cricketfan1 about the flexibility part.

Tiger does seem more flexible than Hrithik but even in the part you're talking about, I am still more drawn to Hrithik's way of doing it simply because of the way he does it. Because of his charm and his moves. I can't describe it, there's this natural thing about Hrithik's dancing that makes me find it better than Tiger's anyday, regardless of technicalities.

It's okay, let's agree to having diverging opinions
