I can quote all of Ranveer's films and call them coming of age/man child films too lol when one is too dense to get the subletly in characters this is what happens

Only someone in deep state of denial will think that Ranbir plays different characters and that Ranveer doesnt.

You cant call Ranveer a man-child because his characters are so vast - unless you think Khilji, Bajirao, Gully Boy, Bitto and Simmba ARE ALL THE SAME character. If you do than I am unable to help you as I cannot distort reality and engage in delusional banter.

Wearing diff costumes and building a body with help of steroids doesn't make one a versatile actor. At the core level Ranveer's acting is similar in all his films and if I have to adopt the same illogical stance like u, then Bajirao is a coming of age story of a maratha, Khilji of a mughal, Simmba of a police etc or like someone once said he plays a chichora in all his roles... There is no end to this ridiculous argument which u started... luckily people who pay to watch his films along with critics, have better understanding of cinema.

How did I start this argument? you're the one that brought up Ranveer. Its not my fault that you cant defend Ranbir so now you're targeting Ranveer. Only in failing arguments do we bring up an external factor to deflect from Reality.

One can see Ranveer's talent hard and clear. In DDD, Simmba/Befikre, Gully Boy and BBB there was no glamour/body or costumes and still - anyone with an unbiased foundation can see with their eyes that the roles are VASTLY different. Even the way they speak, mannerisms, character arc etc - the films premise and everything else.

Also - please dont tell me I dont have an understanding of cinema. You cannot tell me what I understand and what I dont. Imma do what imma do. Got it?

Well Bollywood awards never had credibility, why so surprised

I mean debut 12 years ago, best actress award for 20 years

Tabu, Vidya , Rani , Kangana and others were all doing great work then, and Deepika gets awarded for it.

I wont blame deepika , she won it but this is pathetic

same goes for the actor category.

and to fill in and have some..such awards had to be given

I understand that but at the same time IIFA isn’t some random award show - they’ve been around for many years and seem to have a good show usually.

It does count for something but it’s just disappointing that they’d create fake awards like this
