Arjit now is way better than the Arjit who joined KKB. When Arjit joined KKB, he had just come in from Splitsvilla and had loads of attitude and the wrong group of friends. The Arjit of today has matured, calmed down and seems to be around the right kind of people who are a good influence on him.

Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary have been paired together for Karan Johar's Ghost Stories.

Netflix recently announced a long-term partnership with Karan Johar's digital arm Dharmatic Entertainment. KJo who was a part of Netflix’s Lust Stories will soon start shooting for horror anthology Ghost Stories.

According to reports, actress Mrunal Thakur who was recently seen in Super 30 and Batla House and Avinash Tiwari of Laila Majnu fame have been roped in as leads for Karan Johar's Ghost Stories. This will be Mrunal and Avinash's digital debut.

Production of Netflix's Ghost Stories began in August. After Lust Stories, the four filmmakers Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap are coming together with this horror series. The stories will be thematically connected to each other and culminate in the end.

For Karan, directing a horror film is not only challenging but also an exciting opportunity. "I have always been mortified to watch the horror genre and have always stayed very far away from any ghost story! So to direct one is not only hugely challenging but also exceptionally exciting," said KJo.

"Personally it's uncharted terrain and I couldn't have chosen a better platform and a more eclectic collective to exhibit my fear of ghosts and ghost stories! This one's going to be a nightmare for this dream team," he added.

Zoya Akhtar's Ghost Stories stars Janhvi Kapoor and Vijay Varma while Anurag Kashyap has roped in Sobhita Dhulipala and Pavail Gulati as leads.
