I am sure Arnav and Khushi both had a peaceful nights sleep after the Dinner and Khushi is now all set to fall in Lover with Her Arnavji, now that her erstwhile love is found not to be 'doodh ka dhula'

Lets see if Khushi has fallen in love or not.

Chapter 12 is Arnav all the way… You rightly said that we will be happy to read Chapter 12. Those of us who thought that Arnav was mooching off K&A realised that Arnav was actually K&A and probably had more right on the finance than Akash

Some points I could gather from the chapter

Manohar had extended the dinner invitation on his own without consulting his family. No wonder Priya was on her way out and was not interested to join others for dinner.

Akash loves Khushi but is unable to see her happily married to Arnav and his father supporting his son and his bahu

Khushi wants to make it clear to Akash that she is with Arnav now and out of bounds for Akash

Priya and Akash had poured out venom on Arnav when he went back to Kapoors after Aarti’s death. Why does Priya call Arnav a b*****d? Aarti was married to Arnav’s father when he was born, wasn’t she??? Did Priya know Aarti before her marriage to Manohar?

We know that Manohar was in love with Aarti much before he divorced Priya. So Aarti helped Manohar set up Kapoor & Associates with her hard earned savings and jewellery and Priya never backed Manohar up to venture out on his own with Shashi.

No wonder Arnav feels that he has more right on the money that is in K&A than Akash. Aarti has more right in K&A fortunes than Manohar.

Why did Manohar keep quiet when Arnav was abused by Priya and Akash? Was he so selfish that he needed either Priya or Aarti with him to survive that he was ready to ignore the pain that Arnav felt when he was abused by mother and son? How could Akash, the person whom Khushi believed to be a gentleman, behave in such an abominable manner with Arnav? In his selfishness, Manohar distanced the only person who truly loved Arnav- Aarti. Maybe after her marriage, Arnav felt betrayed by his mom too for she loved Manohar more.

Basicallly Justice Ji is a selfish guy and didn’t wanna ruin his chance at a comfy life with Priya and Akash for Arnav.

He is aaauging his guilt through Khushi

Another magnificent chapter. Finally Khushi got the glimpse of how arnav was treated by the step mom and step brother after his mother's death and how manohar didn't supported him. She has started to see the flaws of her mentor but at the same time still is not letting her mentor to fall in her eyes considerably by giving him benefit of doubt. Today she has seen one flawed side of the always goody good Akash and started to move away from him and closer to arnav unconsciously but I am sure if instead of arnav, khushi have heard the conversation between Priya and Akash she must have resented Akash outrightly for his spineless attitude of not confessing his feelings first to his lady love rather showing his feelings to the unnecessary people first.

The predinner play of khushi and Akash's eyes individually showed how khushi still pondering over Akash's feelings for her despite her earlier resolution and pep talk to herself to not go in this territory again and give her marriage a fair chance. This shows she is still far from the metal to be completely loyal to arnav. Also Akash giving intense looks to khushi showed he is not backing down from the claim of his love, although his love is now his sister in law. This shows he is a crooked man far from the persona of the picture perfect flawless son of manohar kapoor. I think he will not back out from his love and still try to hit on khushi and this will lead to a huge misunderstanding between arshi and their separation after all Akash is a very clever advocate.

Arnav's past revelations not only disclosed the fact that how manohar had robbed him of his loved ones and the money/aarti's jewellery on which only arnav had the only right but also the fact that kapoor associates was built by 3 people's money and effort and now only manohar/ Akash are bearing it's fruits so arnav is right in taking his share. This also shows why Garima resented the kapoor family. Like Priya she must be have guessed the Akash's interest in khushi but she was wise enough to see the spineless nature of Akash similar to manohar who couldn't stand for their loved ones and she chose arnav over Akash because of arnav's attitude of fighting and snatching for his rights.

Now khushi's heart is getting cleaned of Akash's love slowly and is started to fill with arnav's love but in my opinion it is still not a clean slate.

Last but not least I wonder why khushi consummated her marriage despite the fact she didn't love arnav. Was she charmed by our charmer or she did it as dutiful wife fulfilling her duti.

The part were Arnav's reasoning for taking his compensation, that I think was re- initiated here. But, it was needed. Finally done with reading the update.

I re-read the prologue and saw that Khushi in prologue and one in chap 12 is so different. she has come a long way.

Will La play a role in distancing Arhi? Will Arnav use her to give Khushi what he thinks she wants- that is Akash? I am sure though that Arnav too has come a long way away from his womanising days n by now La may be only a friend.

I found that there is something more than mere hatred between Priya and Arnav. Is it something related to Politics?

Looks like Priya never wanted Manohar to leave the Big firm and go on his own and hence would not have helped Manohar financially in his time of need and Aarti helped Manohar establish K&A.

Since Shashi and Aarti, both were partners in K&A along with Manohar, is it possible that their deaths are interconnected? Did Akash have a role to play? He became famous and grew up exponentially suddenly in K&A

Oh there is more to Akash that seen in plain sight. Khushi and Manohar’s perception about Akash is different than Arnav and Garima’s.

Maybe I am reading something where none exists

Okay, so this update was a hot and cold shower wala update!

I feel for Arnav, all that deserved was a little bit of right care and form of love, he could have been a great guy! But, there's always two sides to a coin. I'm still waiting for Mr. Manohar's side as to why he couldn't be there for Arnav and what happened during his mom's death.

Akash in this update was close to not being there. Except for trying to slow down his mother. Thank god, he did that at least. Plus, I'm glad he never had the courage to admit his love. We wouldn't have gotten Arshi if not!

Khushi, one cannot blame her here as well. It isn't easy to fall in love with the guy you were almost coerced to marry , while your actual true love is just sitting across the table and knowing he did love you back, but, just didn't profess it.

She's trying, that's a great step. They opened up today at a new level. That's a huge sign! I hope the love blooms slowly and steadily!

I am actually giving benefit of doubt to Akash for his conversation with Khushi on the first day of her return to work.

May be Akash thought he has enough time to convince his mother before expressing his feelings to Khushi. He must be aware of Khushi's growing fondness for him. Khushi's engagement to Arnav must have been kept under wraps until the last minute curtesy Garima.

This was the first chance he got to speak to Khushi and he expressed what he thought about her marriage to Arnav. He was a friend, helped her in her profession and may have also supported her when Shashi died under mysterious circumstances. So, after a second glance I think his conversation is not entirely wrong.

I know this is not related to this chapter, but thought posting it anyway.

Actually, I liked how you have portrayed Akash's POV. All said and done, the man did suffer and if he is resentful, its not wrong.

I love what you have written about Akash. He doesn't seem saintly . He had his day before Arnav and Khushi married and at that time he chose to remain mum. What is the use giving accusing looks to Khushi now. Even now he does not have the guts to face Khushi while Khushi is waiting for a final confrontation with Akash.

From the chapter it is clear that though Khushi never liked Arnav because of his womanising ways, his idleness, him supposedly depending upon Manohar's wealth for his extravagant ways, she could never resist the pull that Arnav had on her. From the first instance her heart missed a beat. She was attracted physically to Arnav though with Akash it was more emotional.

Hence I feel that she did not consummate the marriage out of duty. Remember, N said that Arnav had given her time to accept him at least physically
