He is really having a tough time since Rab Ne bana di Jodi. Apart from CE all his films are either flopped or underperformed. Although he has acting credibility but his star power has faded drastically in this decade.

A strong script and mediocre entertaining film is all he need now.

He cannot always get age appropriate characters!! He did few... like Chennai express where he is 40+ Kabir Khan in chak de... and also jehangir khan in dear zindagi.... or Rizwan Khan in my name is Khan!!! All are age appropriate!!! And it cannot happen always!!! Now he needs to sit back and go through good scripts and select one or produce good content... be it netflix or any medium!!!

He is taking a break to replenish and retrospect. So not right to write him off.

I feel it's been ages since I saw an amazing movie from him, like Chak De! that was the last solid peformance from him I think..

his last few movies have been so disappointing...JHMS, Zero..such bad bad films..

I wish he choses some good scripts...it's his script sense which has really let him down..can't understand how he lost so much connect with what the audience likes... hope he can come back!

He did Dear Zindagi. I think he should rethink the kind of roles he picks. Age is just one thing but the movie has to work too. So no, don’t retire. But reinvent SRK. More Dear Zindagi and less Zero.

I wish he does, only so, that few of his fans stop their immature phudakna.... But I guess that will never happen (stopping the phudakna)....

He should move on from romantic roles, take others stories like Akshay Kumar....
