Good afternoon everyone
Also, they keep on just showing how they work, work, and work. No frustration, no tiredness, no sleep deprivation. This is not realistic at all.
I am also happy to have sanjivani. I haven’t watched DMG or san1 but i a really hooked with the show. And rose has mentioned I also wish the show was of One hour. It feels like shuru hotehi khatam ho gaya..
I hope the trp becomes high. At least then the show makers of other serials wilk ralized that its not onky sans bahu saga what people watch... Audinece need new concepts and theories.. Love the show.
@nuomi.riceball - Yeah it is not realistic but then the show is also a work of fiction.. I guess they want to show that all the good docs are workaholics..
Hi surabhi.. How's the day going?
On the note of catching up with previous seasons of Sanjivani.. We have DMG on Hotstar but i don't think Sanjivani Season 1 is availaible on hotstar.. After watching the flashbacks in the previous episodes suddenly i want to watch season 1 again just to refresh my memory..
Sanjivani is such a blessing and I'm so glad I began watching it. I love the show so much that it has made me return to India Forums for the first time since IPKKND ended.
I fell in love with Namit from his previous show "Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai" and I've been a fan of Surbhi from the "Qubool Hai" days. It warmed my heart to see a promo of a show with these two together.
When I finally decided to watch it three days ago, I ended up watching all 20 episodes in less than 24 hours. I was hooked. We haven't seen something like this in a good while on Indian TV. So action packed, realistic, and carried out so well! A story with so much potential - each character with their own complex backstories that dictate the way they take on and navigate the current situations and the way those weave into the larger story and impact the fate of the hospital (Sanjivani). Multiple different angles - hospital politics/conflicts - social service vs. commercialization, familial conflicts - Dr. Anjali and Dr. Shashank, Dr. Sid's Dad, Dr. Ishani's Parents and her "famous" Mama & Mami; the fight for power - new CEO, new Chief of Surgery. And to top it all off and keep it authentic as it is a medical show named after the hospital, they have brand new cases almost every episode, each of which exposes the audience to thrilling never seen or heard before medical scenarios and reveals the level of knowledge, creativity, problem solving, and the ready mindedness required for doctors to be successful at their jobs. The genuine friendships of the residents, the chemistry and the developing love story between the lead pair (who for once are actually being civil towards each other, and not just blowing petty things out of proportion for the sake of a fight to add the "hate" part in the the "love hate" relationship). Not to mention the immensely talented older actors all performing at their highest.
I read some of the criticism about the show and I'll admit, it may not be perfect but it's far better than the rest of the content we are being shown. And if nothing else, this has the potential to be a stepping stone in the Indian Television towards better, more stimulating content for the intellectual audiences.
But I know it, this show will be a success as it is, without them having to alter the very core of it to cater to the TRP world. They will watch it for what it is, I believe in my people. :) We are smarter than the saas bahu and naagin traps.

I agree.. This show is the reason i came back to India-Forums myself after a gap of almost 3 years.. It is a nice and refreshing touch.. I hope it gets the same fame and love as its previous seasons have got.. And remain high on the TRP charts as well just like its previous seasons.
Precap of today's episode is Ishani left Sanjivani and Sid is given the responsibility to bring her back. Their dance gave me this lovely vibes.
@ Ayesha you can check that os on my wattpad profile Ahankara under the work a love like this.

Hey, welcome to the chat club and I agree, Sanjivani is a fresh breath of air for us. Yeah, the show isn't perfect has it's own faults but it's different from what has been and can become something really beautiful.
