Why was Prerna supported and not Anurag?

Prerna entered into Basu house when AnuKom got married to claim her rights as Anurag’s wife. She was supported and said that she is strong, modern blah blah. She tried to break a married woman’s home for Anurag . Yet she wasn’t wrong. Now its Mr.Bajaj and Prerna who came to Anurag’s house, can’t they afford new one whe they get the Bajaj mansion back? Anurag’s dialogues on soulmates are repetitive but personally I feel if one thinks Prerna was right in trying to ruin AnuKom marriage, he/she should be fine with Anurag too. And coming to nullifying the marriage, if the marriage was legal in the first place, removing the dhaga or wiping off the sindoor doesn’t nullify the marriage, if it was not legal , Prerna too had no right over Anurag back then except that she was his ex!!

Edit : sorry for not being to reply individually, so writing my view. I’m happy majority people who felt Anurag is wrong now, feel Prerna was wrong back then too, and my point is if their marriage is legal at that time, it is legal even now. Anurag or Prerna cannot nullify the marriage at their own will. If their marriage is not legal, what Prerna did is even worse. And Anurag didn’t leave his pregnant wife, for heavens sake that man didn’t even know that she was pregnant. It was two sided consensual affair they had, Anurag didn’t force himself on Prerna.

Prerna was just despo during AnuKom marriage on basis of Illogical dhaaga .. She is just desperately destroying komolika's married life . which is now repeating by anurag ...farak serf itna hai us time BB mai prerna khud chalke ayi thi and Now prerna bajaj ke sath ayi hai ...

My friend it's a debate that most dignified women are fighting for.

Automatically in society head if women cry..its fault of a man.. that has actually happen in this show too. Sad reality is women didnot fight for this. Our fight was for equality and fighting for equal right but lately it has just become a shamble.

Really scary place right now for man tbh. Pre character for any 2019 women is a question mark tbh. Marker has failed miserably.

I think Anurag character is getting many support right now then Pre tbh. India forum was place of Anupre fan but minute Bajaj story happened most opt out cause forum have dept discussions.

Similarly when Bajaj entered. His fan joined in forum. Simple which is y you see more of them in forum right now. But minute Anupre happen they will leave which I highly doubt will happen for Anupre fan cause most of them have boycotted Pre now.

So dont worry. Forum is just a place of 30 percent of regular viewers like us..who like to have intense dept discussions. But if you look insta,twitter even Youtube.. many people still support Anurag then husband and wife tbh.

Few are worried with his actions ad they think Pre will hate him forever but those are few Anupre fan who are left rest are full on support for Anurag.. so not to worry.

Why do you think Prerna was cheered during the Komo track, because she fought for her right and claimed to be a MARRIED woman? TRP audience loved it. It was degrading as a woman but then matters of the heart!!!!

Coming to Bajaj, he usurped the situation by a forceful marriage, but, by then, Prerna is no longer a married woman. Her marriage in itself was nullified. It was deemed an incomplete marriage and her signs of matrimony robbed from her. Now tables turned. Role reversal, Anurag is claiming his right but, not as a married man but a lover? A lover is still considered as an impermanence in the Indian society unless the show in itself is based on infidelity which it is clearly not!

So, the LOVER Anurag's liaisons are deemed inappropriate in contrast to the MARRIED Prerna’s fight for her love. When she fought Komo, she was fighting as the first WIFE. But here, Anurag is fighting as a LOVER.

And, in the order of the society and TRP, marriage wins hands down unless the partner is a criminal.

Here, in TRP audiences mind, Bajaj is the one wronged as compared to Anurag and unless Bajaj turns out to be a CREEPY BLACK husband.

He is clearly not that and despite being ruthless he will still be the HUSBAND and will always have an edge.

That’s why, the word WIFE is being reiterated again and again. If the soulmate story is the end game, then Bajaj has to be either dead or PURE EVIL. He is a likeable husband till now and TRP audience will root for him.

They simply don’t understand Grey at all.

Note:- These are not my personal views but written from TRP audience mindset. I personally love the angst and layered stories. But, the truth is shows are made for TRP audience.

Ekta wanted to show how strong prerna was but it turned out she was home wrecker. Anurag sacrificed himself for prerna family and now prerna sacrificed herself for anurag. She was wrong then and anurag is wrong now. Ekta is trying to show love can make people so crazy stuff but I don’t see this as strong character I see it as weak. This track could have been so much better so much but again ekta does what she does who am I to question her.

When we say TRP audiance I think some time we take for granted of few thing. Basically you are saying TRP audiance believe in this kind of story. Sorry in my opinion then you are telling my mother my relative who dont understand art, story things etc.. believe in betraying lover and live with a man..who snatch a right about achild and his father. Sorry even they have ethics.

You could say TRP audiance are those who watch show just for the shake of it. For eg my granny..she will watch any show any language just to waste time. I can buy that but saying TRP audiance will marriage then soulmate thing is wrong cause even uneducated person will have self respect and ethics.

First of all, this is not a personal comment which I was making towards your family at all, so it’s inappropriate to deduce that I’d be doing so. Apologies if my post comes across like this despite the disclaimer.

Sadly, yes, most of the TRP audience behaves in a particular fashion. Art and story telling is a subjective. What might look absurd to you might be someone’s great entertainment. So is any form of art.

Now coming to your question about how can the audience accept forced marriageable etc etc. lots of shows have been super successful on these formulas and guess what the hero doesn’t even get a redemption track!!

So, at the end of the day, it’s all about business and TRP’s. No one takes that audience for granted. The shows which grab the maximum TRPs are the most absurd shows as per my opinion. Does that mean that they are bad shows? For me, yes, for others, maybe no.

Liking or disliking something is highly individualistic and cannot be labelled as superior or inferior.

My Mom sat and watched some Dayan crapiest nonsense but my grandmother hated it. See, there’s a difference.

So, my point simply was, marriage still holds a very strong point in our society which is still stuck to the idea of Husband and wife being made for each other. No matter how irritated we are as audience, most of the TRP audience accept it and respect it.
