Please don't do that. I am glad you are writing. It is a healthy forum. Everyone has a different view and perspective. This show is a million times better than all the crap on every single channel. So only appreciation for this show. I feel Hanuman Singh should have been a counselor or a life coach. We need more such people in our lives.

When Mickey was initially introduced, I never imagined that the writers would develop this character in such a beautiful way. Back when he was introduced, I used to think they might go the cliché way of being changed by Minnie's love. But the way Mickey's character was developed over the course of the show has been great. As he started being friends with Minnie and his friendship with her grew, somewhere he too has come a long way from whiling away his time with those crazy guys he used to be friends with. I think with Minnie he himself has discovered what it means to be a friend. He really does understand Minnie, in tune with her moods, and knows how to cheer her. I wouldn't mind if they remain just good friends and I wouldn't mind if the writers opt for romance after sorting the Preet angle.

I actually was totally put off by Micky in the beginning. All his mawaali harkatein of grabbing Mini’s hand, telling her tu Meri hai blah blah. I really thought he wouldn’t amount to anything more than typical MCP brat sappily in love with Mini. But he turned out to be so much more. Kudos to the writers. They don’t write to fill screen space...the characters don’t exist to be stuffed into every epi....they are brought in at apt points for the story.

His feelings for Mini have evolved Micky into a better human being...he’s learnt to be self-less when you care that much about someone.

I also love that Micky has these moments of perception about Hanuman....a man thing, as he says 😆 because it brings another perspective for Mini that she can’t always get from others around her.

Micky is the first peer relationship in Mini’s life where she doesn’t have to be the one managing everything....she’s so used to being the daadimaa of every situation, she hasn’t had a peer in her life who truly sees beyond the surface with her. Preet couldn’t do that. Micky understands an evolving Mini in a way that Preet really isn’t able to.

Haha, yes... I was trying to zone-out his character back then but @bold as you've aptly put it, has made me appreciate what the writers have managed to do. And like you said, it's good that Mini has someone her age by her side as well, and someone who has indeed been able to be more of a friend Preet could be.

And oh yes, Mickey-Hanuman dynamics is another thing nicely built up with Hanuman initially being dismissive of Mickey and to that hug Hanuman gave him at an emotional moment, which Mickey too has been able to perceive. I would like to see more of these two!! It's really amazing how this show has many different characters and their different dynamics that I can never get bored.

I for one am loving what’s going on between mickey and mini. Whether ppl like it or not it is a realistic representation of what teenagers go through at that age- they emotions, attractions, feelings. Doesn’t mean they have to be married off! I appreciate maybe older generations didn’t go through this because at 18 most of them were either married or about to get married but this is what teenagers go through. Pretending it does not happen, just because ppl find it uncomfortable viewing just sweeps the matter under the rug, which this show clearly isn’t about. I don’t get why mini is being called things like cheater and stuff? Who’s she cheated on? Where was preets loyalty to the friendship when she started to like a guy who she knew was in love with mini? Yes there was a moment between them yesterday but no line was crossed. I for one think if she has feelings for mickey they should show her going for it and start to date him. Preet might be her childhood friend but she’s certainly not acted like a very good friend from the divorce and guaranteed if preet had to choose between a boy and mini again she won’t choose mini, as she’s proven in the past. Even if it came to mini being stuck between the two friends, this also would be a true representation of what sometimes happens between a group of friends where there’s guys and girls and feelings start to develop. Obviously, mini didn’t go out thinking “I’m going to start having feelings for mickey”. These things happen.

As for lovely, idk how babita can consider them “sisters”. She is a vile woman. Even if she can’t have children, that’s not everyone else’s fault. And beeji has been banging on about how babita “is her daughter” yet when lovely insulted babita and her character (don’t know where her ego was this time), she sat there doing and saying nothing. She proves again she’s really only out for herself, but babita won’t see this.

I love MiMi myself, but I believe there is a way to do everything. Up till now, everything that has been shown between them has been realistic and natural, not cheating as some people think. But, going forward, Minnie should remember that Mickey is committed. It shouldn't matter whether Preet is her best friend or not, only that Mickey is in a relationship and she shouldn't become the reason they break up.

I think that I am constantly amazed by the thoughts of some people who do not see cheating for what it is but will try to run down a child friend to justify a new kid on the block.

Rano fixed Preeti wedding due to her hanging out a lot with Mini and get influenced by her and getting in trouble, selling jewellery and Police called and she decided to get her Married but Pretti was never a strong girl, this has been seen from the beginning as she has followed Mini, than she was engaged and this guy brain washed her as she was weak and did whatever he told her to break relationship with Mini and yes she was mean to Mini but Mini saved her from him. And they made up. She asked Mini before taking up with Mickey.

I think people have forgotten all of that in favour of Mickey is stupid.

Mickey is a boy who has dated more than 2 girls at the same time and is doing it again because even after chasing Mini and not getting her decides to take up with Pretti a emotional girl and is always there after Mini and only the lord knows why he is hanging out there a bit like stalking her and suddenly knows her and tells her to live her life and not her Babes, wow a jerk like him giving out advice is suddenly a true friend and soulmate, bring the bucket pls.

What is not shown here is a fine line of deceit in Bf and Gf in friends and yes it does happen and when the storm will come it will destroy them all. The worst effected will be Preeti, who is not at fault here. Even if they meet later it will carry undertones of cheating and deception.

I really don't know how the CV are going to show this as its cheating.

Mini should be wise to cheating as her Parents wedding should have opened her eyes to it or she will be another Mita. Really is Mickey the only Guy in the whole world.

If going this route than please show it has Cheating Zone for what it is.

And I feel a sense of complete faith in these writers. When they’ve developed it so naturally so far, they will handle the next phase nicely as well.

Obviously Mini will struggle with her feelings and not feel comfortable moving forward since Preet is in the mix. This will be a larger conversation between her, Micky, and Preet and wherever that takes them....dating, friendship or breakup.

There is a reason they showed her feeling awkward that day and video calling Preet out of guilt. And Micky perceptively understood why she did it and felt hurt that she was misunderstanding his intentions. He’s never hidden the fact that he has feelings for her and has backed off cuz Mini friend zoned him. So where does “cheating” come into this? He has given Mini honesty....that is why she has become attached to him.

And I do not doubt at all that the writers will handle this sensitively as well :)

Agreed! Ppl seem to think mini owes preet something because they’ve been friends since childhood, but when mini was at her lowest point, preet no longer wanted to be friends (over a guy!). I don’t think mini or even mickey will do anything behind preets back, even after everything that’s happened, mini is still loyal. I actually believe she’s had feelings for mickey from the time she became friends with him (but perhaps couldn’t admit these feelings cos she was so angry at men in general). I can’t c mini betraying preet (she’s more likely to hide her feelings than do this, I think), but we know for sure when preet finds out she’s going to be pissed off and we all know she can drop mini over a guy so that’s probably what she will do.

Cheating and swapping boyfriends in Friends is never nice and ends in heartache for your friend.

completely agree. mini dosent owe preet anything. infact preet owes her because she saved her from a wrong guy.

i actually dont think mini had romantic feelings towards mickey. they may develop in future. for now he is just a very good friend. i just think mini needed more time to develop her feelings for mickey & before that happened preet jumped into the picture. i actually think it was preets fault here to decide to go for a guy who liked her best friend. she still choose her romantic feeling over mini and would continue to do so in future too. where as i remember mini telling preet and mickey that she was not happy with their dating because if they had a fight she would have to choose between the two friends & she will choose preet because she is her childhood friend. so mini will never cheat on preet with mickey even if she develops feelings for mickey she will try to hide them and not act on them.

What i think will happen is either mickey -preet break up by themselves . or mickey realizes he still has feelings for mini. or preet might just doubt their friendship & say things to mini & mickey will choose his friendship for mini over preet. Sometimes friendship is more deeper than romantic love & maybe the makers would want to show this aspect of relation & feelings too.
