I think it was purposeful. The scene was supposed to be rohit's. His outburst, his feelings and his faith on sona.

The impact of the scene would have been watered down if focus was on naren.

I don't want this to be revealed in front of the whole family at first. It should be only between Rohit n Sona n later Rohit can tell it to his family n they can apologize n all that can follow. But at first, it should be only about ronakshi!

Rohit can't express it all in front of his family the way he'll do in front of Sona alone. N even if he does, I don't want any disturbance by way of camera focusing on close ups of that huge family. I want to focus on Rohit alone!!
