Before Sanju, Raju Hirani never gave a big blockbuster without Aamir. Munna Bhai had Sanjay Dutt but wasn't a big hit like 3 Idiots, PK, Sanju. So who provided that extra push to Sanju to make it a big hit like a Khan level film?

lol Raju only made 4 films before..youre acting like he made 10-20 films and most of them were average.. 3 idiots and Pk litrally made him one of the most well known director.. which ever film he was gonna be doing after PK was gonna be a blockbuster.. Ranbir just got lucky Raju chose him

The topic did. It was about freaking Sanjay Dutt, an iconic controversial actor. Not to mention Munna Bhai was his first movie, Hirani build himself a good reputation over the years

Ranbir's acclaimed performance by audience was also luck I suppose.

Even MSD was not a blockbuster and Dhoni is much more of a hot property than Dutt. Lage Raho Munna Bhai wasn't a big blockbuster either compared to 3 Idiots, Pk, Sanju.

All of them had major scripting and screenplay issues. That is why I said he is bad at picking scripts.
