Kareena is the first one to come to mind whenever someone talks about overacting. She is the Queen of overacting man. No one has come close to destroy the legacy of overacting that she's built over the years.

This just goes on to explain that indian audience prefers overacting in general. Everyone can't practice something if its not the norm.
