A great start! Love the Khushi-Lavanya dynamics, room-mates and soul sisters... It's an interesting setup you have - a divorced, cynical Khushi, estranged from parents who didn't support her in her time of need. Lavanya brings the lightness and support to Khushi's life. And of course there is Shyam, every ready to spread misery...

So who is the recipient of those blows by the hardbound files. Is it our very own Laad Governor? Or will Khushi quit the misery, and join La in the fashion house headed by the oh-so-hot ASR, and start Rabba Ve-ing?

Can't wait to read more... So please do continue...

Khushi has a fine line in sarcasm, but it seems she has much to be cynical about. I was nodding vigorously at the comment about people who like stating the obvious, or as they say here, the bloody obvious!

The quality of your writing has made me super curious about your previous ID. But, it'll be fun reading this story with that question ticking away at the back of my head :)
