It still feels surreal that today we got to witness the first Mishbir date how far we have come. One thing is common though have you guys ever noticed that even in the opening montage when Abir blows bubbles Mish like a kid is focusing on the bubbles and is trying to pop them but Abir is looking at her. While Mish is happy and smiling by looking at the bubbles, he is only smiling by looking at her. He is only focused on her and towards the end she catches him looking at her even she smiles more widely. This is the true essence of their relationship. From the get go Abir has been enthralled by her. Her ability to call a spade a spade the way she manages to get herself out of a tight spot, the way she keeps pushing on even when things are not working in her favor and they way she faces her problems head on is what makes his angry chorni so special. Even at the day in the mandir while the petals were falling all around them and she was smiling and marveling at them he was just looking at her ,he was just marveling at her for when she smiles it feels like his life has a whole new meaning she makes him forget his past, his pain and his sorrows. Before her for him “Dard toh dost purana hain” but now she is his safe haven, his solace his happiness “Sach toh sirf pyar hain saathi”. Even today while Mish is busy in admiring the amazing décor he did for her , he only has eyes for her. A wide smile graces his lips as he sees her admiring his hard work and if you look at his face at that moment you will realize what true bliss actually is. He is so content truly echoing that his happiness is tied with hers. More on this later for now lets dig in to the episode from the start.
The episode begins with Misthi walking on the road while she is lost in her thoughts as much as she hates to admit but Kuhu’s words still have a hold on her. Moreover, what Varsha said was equally despicable and Mish can’t help but wonder that why she was unable to make a space in their hearts. As she takes out her phone to contact someone a mysterious person on motorbike snatches away her phone. She runs after him but he is too quick for her as she gasps for breath she utters a very small but an adorably meaningful dialogue
“Uss phone main meray aur Abir kay pictures hain woh phone toh main wapis lay kar hi rahun gi” I have so many questions lol this means that Mishbir have taken pictures that we have no idea about omg omg and she wants her phone back because she doesn’t want to lose her precious pictures with him. The mysterious guy tries to sneak up at her but our angry chorni is all ready with her pepper spray in her hands. She turns back to him and the both stumble and fall on the ground and just casually roll over in the mud. As she lands on top of him she goes like “Helmet walay chor” and then she see his familiar eyes it her very own Ajeeb RV and she removes the helmet from his face.
“Tum nay yay sab kyun kiya” She asks him why he did it
“Yay mainy nahi tumnay kiya hain” He tells her that she did this lol
He takes her to the setup for the date and proudly exclaims that he did this. To say she was awestruck looking at all the decorations is an understatement she is spellbound beyond measure. As she gleefully loos at the décor he looks at her smiling face and with a contented sigh he realizes that all the effort he put in the setup was worth it. Their music is playing and she turns back to look at him and thinks how did this guy manage to do this again make her smile on a day in which she only wanted to cry. How did she get so lucky? Her eyes are literally sparkling as she look at him and he smiles back at her and than slowly approaches her. As he comes close to her he flicks his fingers and they are surrounded by white and blue curtains and she is fascinated by them but he again is only looking at her. Our adorable babies are in utter and total bliss as they both look around and admire their surroundings before looking at each other again.
“I am sorry Abir mainay date par ahanay say mana kar diya”
He puts a finger on her lips and stops her
“Date kay liay mana kiya tha zindagi bhar kay liay toh hah kaha tha” he gazes in to her eyes intenstly and tells her it doesn’t matter this was just one date compared to an entire lifetime that she has promised that she will spend with him. I can’t deal with these two cuties remember how Mish once put a finger on his lips and told him “Badi muskil say milay ho abb main tumay kahin nahi jnay du gi” and at that time he had said “Main kahin nahi jaon ga” how beautifully has he shown that through his actions. Yeh Risthay plays and he tells her that they need to capture this moment and he takes out her phone and asks her to smile and takes a selfie. She looks at the dirt on her face in the picture and walks away. They don’t show us what happens next.
When the scene cuts to them again they are both standing in front of the lake behind the bench and giving each other lovey dovey looks. Then they both put their hands on the edge of the bench and slowly move their fingers to hold each other’s hand at the end. Saathiya rey in this scene with their expressions is a treat to watch.
She removes her hand from his and asks him “Tum nay mera phone kyun churya tha” she asks him why he stole her phone
“Angry chorni say pyar karta hu thoda asar toh ho ga” He tells her how she has started rubbing off on him
“Helmet wala chor”
“Angry chorni”
“Yay sab tum nay kiya hain” She still can’t believe it that he did all of this for her/
“Nahi Virat Kholi nay kiya hain arey of course mainay kiya hain” ROFL they way Abir is like that obviously I did all of this.
“Yay humrahi pehli date pay tumharay liay surprise” Aww the way he says was so cute
“Abir mujhay laga mainay date par ahanay say mana kiya tha toh tum naraz ho jaon gay” She tells him how she thought he will be miffed because she turned him down for the date.
“Lakin yay sab” He however has managed to surprise her again
“Koshish ki thi lakin nahi ho paya” Homeboy is like I tried but I can’t be mad at you. By this time Mish is in her element and she uses this opportunity to bug him by bringing out the sore topic of her X boyfriend lol,
“Waisay tum woh boyfriend wali baat say naraz nahi ho kiya” She is having too much fun she knows that this is his weak spot. He bites his nails in frustration but doesn’t say a thing and looks away.
“Waisay tum uss type kay lag tay nahi ho kay agar mera ex BF nikala toh tum naraz ho jaon gay nahi”
“Tumhay kaisa pata main kis type ka larka hu….. Iss baat say koi farq nahi padhta kay tumhari koi EX BF tha lakin hah iss baat say farq zaroor padhta hain kay tum mujhay uss EX BF ka naam nahi bata rahi” He goes on to exclaim that what if he is that psycho possessive lover who writes his girlfriend’s name on his chest and she having an ex doesn’t matter what matters is that she hasn’t told him that who is her ex.
“Relax mera koi EX BF nahi hain bas aik BFF hain aur woh bhi meray cousin kay husband hain main aik din tumhay un say zaroor milwaon gi He is the best” Mish can see how visibly affected she is so she tells him the truth.
“Arey woh best hain toh main kon hu” One track Ajeeb RV only focuses on one thing that his girl believes that someone else is even better than him. This scene was so cute I would love to see Kartik and Abir interact sometime in the future.
“Tum who idiot ho jisay matti pain lodhana pasand hain” She refers to their recent rendezvous in the mud
“Hello Madam pyar kartay hain who kuch bhi kar sakaty hain” He grabs her hand and tells her that one can do anything for love.
“Abir tumhay pata hain na mera na aik legendary wala bad day chal raha tha lakin tum nay ussay bhi khoobsurat bana diya thank you” Once again she thanks him for turning her legendary bad day into such a beautiful day for her.
“Saach toh sirf pyar hain saathi
Husan berukhi aur yay haway
In teeno ki har baat hain jhooti
Jhootay hain yay badal saray
Aur sanam barast hain jhooti
Jhoot ka karobar hain saathi

He says that how everything around them such as the weather, the beauty the ambience they all can lie but one thing is for sure that the love they have for each other is pure and real. They again entwine their hands and he puts her hand on his waist and pulls her closer. He places a hand on her face as their faces are just inches apart. He notices that she is visibly flustered as she pull away. Its only natural that she is feeling shy he says
“Itna bhi awkward feel karnay ki zaroorat nahi hain yay nazara yay jheel dono kahin nahi ja rahay puri zindagi hain in kay pass aur hum dono kay paas bhi puri zindagi hain haina” He leans close to her and tells her that how all these things will stay here and they have their whole lives ahead of them so they will take things slow. Take notes guy because this is how a real guy behaves who refuses to take advantage of her and instead of forcing her agrees to give her time to process.
The scene cuts to their lovely banter while siting on the bunch and sipping on coconut juice these two are just so adorable. Abir tells her that how she is only angry at him and for the rest of the world she is a coward.
“Actually dar toh ussay lag ta hain jo dar ko face kar saktay hain tum toh baat baat par ghar chod kar bhag jatay ho”
“Tum bhi airport jog karnay nahi di thi tum bhi ghar say bhag hi rahi thi”
“Face kar lo tumhari sirf mujh par chal ti hain aur kisi par nahi”
“Shut up”
“Dunya kay liay tum ho darpok Misthi aur angry Misthi is Na-real Misthi”
These two are so married already and Abir’s pun game is so strong. Abir tells her how she doesn’t have it in her and she is like she doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone but our homeboy uses reverse psychology and challenges Mish. She claims that she knows that he is doing this to rile her up but she will take up his challenge. He goes like “Well done Angry Chorni” lol this cutie wanted this all along. The Janmastmi event seems like would lead to a big change in their lives. Can’t wait for the upcoming episodes. I know the editing was choppy but if you look at the Mishbir scenes again objectively we really had some really good scenes today.
Stray thoughts
• Makers please stop intercutting Mishbir and Kuku scenes it disrupts the flow of each scene
• That being said loved how Kuhu gave back to Kunal that atleast she was sincere and all these disgusting tactics she has learned from him
• What I didn’t like was Kuhu blaming Mish again in her monologue
• The precap was nice until the last scene I am hoping against hope that Misthi’s accident is not caused by Kuhu.
