no movie in particular. like lots of movies but no one movie that i am crazy about

pakistani cinema use to be mostly punjabi movies so i never got hooked to it since i dont understand the language much. urdu movies were there too but few.

recently they are making more and more urdu movies and i have heard there is quality as well but then i dont watch even bolly movies much now. so as it turned out i have only watched very few pakistani movies.

overall i am just not a movie person..even on india forum i landed because of saregamapa. many indian channels came out at that time and i got hooked up to this concept of reality shows like indian idol and saregama..and then bigg boss. bollywood was a time pass.

This is one of my favourite songs. I guess it must be posted here already. No matter what the mood, this song always transports me to a different plane. I love everything about it-the music, the words, the sound of the words, the meaning of the words, the rhythm and the melody, the pauses, the scenery, the desert, the sand, the oasis, the river banks, the caravans, the kafilas, the twilight, the looking in like a bystander, a witness and Hema Malini. I just wish someone else maybe Asha Tai had sung this song. :)

Also, going off-track here, do you speak like a dialect, or is it plain normal Urdu?

Which Sa re ga ma pa season ? :D ..(you don't have to say) I loved Sa Re Ga Ma Pa during Hemachandra-Mohd Irfan, Lil Champs (one with baby Armaan Malik) and Aneek-Raja Hasan-Sumedha-Amanat Ali-Mauli seasons.. I was in 6-7th grade and don't remember well but used to watch every week. But those 3 seasons were a blast! :) Even Indian Idol! :)
