That's nice Khushboo.. I try reading shayaris but I can't :( ..my hindi reading is slow and hindi written in English in more slow as I'm not used to it. My native language is Telugu toh isiliye thoda mushkil ho jata hai.. That's why I try to listen to ghazals, but never delved in them as much as I'm trying to do now.😃

You are so right, these nazm, shayari, ghazal they are so beautiful, contain a wisdom within, and feel like ultimate expression of love that can be possible in words.. that is why everyone likes them.

From first love to heart breaks to life these shayaris and ghazals has been my companion because of their deep yet simple meanings.. the reason I like Jagjit Singh's ghazal more are because he used the simple phrases among the whole originally written shayaris so that it would be easy for laymen to understand ...

yaaa, i thought it was just me.. even if I remember the general meaning of the song, I tend to forget the word to word meanings.. it happens even with hindi songs :(

I didn't know that Rekha had best Urdu accent :o ..her mother tongue is vastly different from Urdu or Hindi, she was Tamilian 😃 ..but the beauty of Urdu perhaps worked it's magic on her..

Well it is all about interest. Legends like her learn new things and are not afraid to learn about other cultures and acknowledge anything if it is good. This is why my fundamental believe is that a jealous insecure person hates others while a secure confident mind is not afraid to risk or appreciate good things in others.

This is crux of human nature...secure vs insecure. u will never see a secure person hate another one.

u for example comes out as a secure individual to me hence i respect and like talking to u.

u r not afraid to learn new things ..while having security in ur own.

Such a lovely piece of work , Lata is for forever ❤️ She has sung many beautiful ghazals like this isn't it. Bollywood can never have another Lata Mangeshkar . Somedays back I posted one on music chit chat one of her too

I have seen her in jab we Wed with Danish taimoor (very handsome) , yakeen ka safar and do bol though do bol is not completed yet as I dropped due to busy schedule. I will resume soon.. she has very pleasant screen presence . And for Firaaq I haven't seen yet but I will watch it if it is that good for sure 👍🏼
