I listen lots and lots of songs specially ghazals and old songs and I love reading shayaris too . I feel that this area are not explored by today's generation but I am sure everyone will love it for the feels it gives. I started to listen Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh when I was in 11th and till now I am not even an ounce tired. Because of them I am hooked to original poet who write those nazm, shayari,etc.. you have a great taste in music I see since the songs you share are beautiful and soothing too ♥️ and I like chit chatting about music 🤗

Oh my Urdu is also very poor, and when I watch Mirza Ghalib I have to pause many times to google the meanings of phrases that I can manage to hear properly lol. I just remembered the greeting words from Mirza Ghalib and posted :p

That's nice Khushboo.. I try reading shayaris but I can't :( ..my hindi reading is slow and hindi written in English in more slow as I'm not used to it. My native language is Telugu toh isiliye thoda mushkil ho jata hai.. That's why I try to listen to ghazals, but never delved in them as much as I'm trying to do now.😃

You are so right, these nazm, shayari, ghazal they are so beautiful, contain a wisdom within, and feel like ultimate expression of love that can be possible in words.. that is why everyone likes them.

There was even a Pakistani serial my mom used to show me at times, "Sun Yaara", characters in that serial used to talk in poetry with each other sometimes 😃 we never fully understood their words but it felt so beautiful lol.

I didn't know that Rekha had best Urdu accent :o ..her mother tongue is vastly different from Urdu or Hindi, she was Tamilian 😃 ..but the beauty of Urdu perhaps worked it's magic on her..

I use them or at times I recite it to my husband specially 😁 I used to watch Pakistani shows when they used to air on Zindagi channel. Since 2015 I have seen very few that also on YouTube . Last one I watched was ranjha ranjha kardi. Sun yara is not my type though.. I don't like the hero. Has seen him in yaha pyaar nahi hai. He was cheating on his wife there and I guess here too..
