Episode starts with pari flirting with Rohan. She is aware he has a wife 🙄 she leaves her scarf when she left, texting Rohan she has left it behind purposefully so that he has a chance to meet her again. 🤢
At Sippy Mansion- Everyone is waiting for the moon to come out, the setting is very jovial. Akash and Nishi have a little tense moment. Rohit comes, everyone inquires about Sonakshi, he awkwardly says she is coming. He goes to collect her when she comes, sees she is fully decked in sari and jewelery. Sends his help away and asks why is she so decked up? Too much for a first meet, she was looking so nice at the Ramani's party, what is this? She counters by saying first meet, festival hai etc. He says I am in love with Sonakshi not Parvati, please change.. She agrees, says she has a bag full of change of clothes since she is an actor, Rohit asks her help to bring the bag to the outhouse.
The both sit on the bed together, rifling through her clothes. At one point, Rohit pulls out a duppatta and says yeh accha nai lagega😂 They finally select an outfit, she goes to remove her necklace, saying she had to do everything by herself, Sunita was also not there. Rohit says I'll help, goes behind her and tries untying the knot with his fingers and then his teeth. Both become aware of the situation but thank god it was not dragged🙈 Sona says I'll change, you leave, he says no😂 then says I meant you take a bath first. There is so much gel in your hair, I mean you look beautiful with open hair. Please.. She says okay
Everyone is waiting for Rona(Guys, rona is so much better than Ronakshi😂) wondering where they were. Veena says I'll bring them, Naren says let them be, she'll think you are am interfering MIL.
Sonakshi is drying her hair, Rohit looks at her, mesmerized. 'Ek ladki ko dekha tou' is playing in the background. She dried her long ass hair in the span of a song. He is still staring, she catches him in the mirror, asks kya hua, he says she looks beautiful. She smiles. He says, let's go? She says one sec, puts on duppatta, adjusts hair and gets phone. (it was very parallel to the scene when she was getting ready for the hospital function🙈) Rohit takes her hand and says thank you for doing so much for me.
They arrive in front of Sippy's, Nishi is visibly displeased, but puts on a fake smile and welcomes Sonakshi, looks at her clothes and says such a simple dress? I mean you do look good.. Veena interjects and says she liked her look, Tanya also says she likes her dress. The moon came out, everyone gets ready for Pooja. Sona is asked to do the pooja as well, she shoots death glares at Rohit. Nishi spills Sonakshi's pot thingy on the pretext of helping her. Sona backs out saying she considers it a bad omen, so she'll do it next year. Ajeeth gives Rohit a thumbs up, Rohit whispers bacch gaye to Sonakshi. Yk tells Nishi I saw what you did.
At dining table, Sona watches everyone break fast, DS asks Rohit to do this small tradition, Sona has karela on her plate, Vimmi says I knew karela was you fav, from the internet. Rohit feed sona karela and bechara Rohit had to eat the karela too 😂 Aakash asks Sona about her interests and herself, Sona says she started working at 12. Nowadays she likes collecting film posters, and sleeping. Well that's been reduced because she is studying. For her 10th exams. Nishi and couple other Sippy's look uncomfortable, she asks what happened, did I say something wrong? She looks at Rohit who nods his head in the sweetest way possible. (I absolutely loved this exchange, she was not one bit embarrassed to have not followed the regular timeline society has and takes pride in the fact that she has taken efforts to complete her education and Rohit, a MD or PhD or whatever his qualifications are, is very supporting and has in no way belittled her. Amazing scene, 10/10👏🏾)
Veena says she supports Rohit's choice, 100 %
Nishi says how did you like Rohit? He is very outgoing - trekking, paragliding etc. They exchange an awkward look. Ajeeth says ya'll science students here forgot a basic rule? Opposites attract. Right bhaiyya? Rohit crushes a papad and says right. 😂
Precap: Rohit, Sona in the car, Rohit thanks and apologises to Sona, saying thoda zyada ho gaya. She says it's fine, but think of what we are doing. Raima is transported to chandigarh via Mumbai in an ambulance. Monitors start beeping, there is a traffic jam. Sona exclaims ambulance ko bhi nai jaane de rai, they get out to clear the traffic. Rohit asks the driver which hospital and spots the driver.
