Parul wasn't trying to be selfish or manipulative. I don't think she wanted to hurt Kuhu. But she is blinded in her love for her son and is not thinking that her son could be in the wrong; that he isn't in love with Kuhu like he claimed.

For me it is Meenu and Kunal who are manipulative. Parul was genuinely happy to get Kuhu as a dil as she thought she was perfect for Kunal. She was always worried that Meenu shouldn't do anything to break up the marriage. I don't think she is malicious but just thought that Kunal was nervous on his wedding day and was unhappy about Mishti's presence. I am pretty sure she will be disappointed to see Kunal misbehaving with Kuhu. Kunal and Meenu at times have treated Parul like dirt.

Parul needs respect but the expectation will be from Abhir to leave Mishti though Abir loves Mishi, so on one side Kunal should get kuhu but Abir should for sake of mom not be with Mishti

Parul being the mute spectator of meenu’s evil deeds has indirectly encouraged her to do whatever she likes.....i agree she felt indebted towards meenu but Her loyalties are according to what suits her convenience ....she wanted to get kunal married she threatened meenu...now that is done she is back to square one!...she is back to manipulate abir again by suggesting that he does not know everything..she did not tell him anything as she can earn brownie points from meenu...she had the entire time in the world to tell him what meenu did but no she choose to be selective again!😡😡
