The only place I have seen people boasting and making so much ado about a paycheck is in Bollywood, and that of certain actresses only, some you hear about in gossip columns but some is not only gossip columns but their actual sister/managers that are so impressed with them selves that they go on and cluck-cluck-cluck about money as if they just laid an egg and must announce it to the world.
Ridiculous and classless but also very telling, that maybe those people who do announce their earnings to the world in inflated figures do not have to pay any income tax.

gisele bundchen clearly said her numbers were made up and she never gave up any figures!

the one who appears r all pr ... Korean chinese actresses makes much more than bw actresses. But they don't boast about it. In india, actors like to boast lol!

Point is that these people do make a lot of money BUT they keep it quiet they do NOT want it to be public information, and the only one who know for sure is the IRS department who's employees are sworn as federal employees and they cannot disclose information, the only place I have seen the obsession is in Bollywood and with kangana to be exact, who boasts about her paycheck and her miserable Rs 1000 donation (a whole 14 dollars to the pani foundation) Everyone else keeps quiet for security reasons and for Tax reasons. Only the noveou riche or the classless boasts about it.
