Today’s episode of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke was like a ‘Ishqe Di Chashni‘ with a hint of ‘kadwa badaam‘ in between. We’d like to talk about the ‘chashni‘ first since the elders have always said, ‘Sweets a day, keep bad thoughts away!’
Imagine the feeling that you’ve had while you’re flipping through the pages of a romantic novel that has got you so intrigued that your life depends on it!
The slightest rush after the whole build up when it’s the time for the writer to make destiny to stop being an ass and actually turn it in favour of our hero and heroine?
That’s the moment when you are about to lose it because of the anticipation and then as you proceed, there’s just a thin line that needs to get off the threshold before you enter into the world of pure ecstasy where the blast of emotions gets the best out of you. Such is the moment of confession that it makes you feel free, out of the hold of a barrier, uncaged, unfazed by the world around.
That’s exactly what one would feel after watching Mishbir expressing their love for each other. The only difference being, there was minimal drama, the much needed realia and the sincerity with which each and every emotion was conveyed.

Here’s our man whose emotions reflect on his face like a silent orchestra being played in the mind. It’s a fierce, variable note when he is angry like the sea waves crashing at the shore with more than usual velocity while there are soft violins playing and the autumn leaves falling when the guy’s heart is reminiscing about a certain ‘Angry Chorni’.
Today his face held that calm. Here’s the man again who can never let his beloved on her knees even if that’s for a proposal someday! Here’s the man who stands for the rights of not only the woman he loves but every woman. Here’s the only man who can look so savage and soothing at the same time while being a spitting image of a prince charming on a white horse.
Here’s to Abir Rajvansh (Shaheer Sheikh) who has broken the hearts of millions of females today as he handed over himself to the one and only ‘Angry Chorni‘ who, if had left today, would have left a barren place and a broken Abir and that would have been a torture to handle.
For Mishti (Rhea Sharma) it was as surreal as it could be but somewhere not unexpected because deep down in the crevices of her heart there was her angelic self who had assured her that her ‘ajeeb‘ story wouldn’t be a tragic one. It’s bound to be different when a ‘weird’ someone was already out there not believing the society and standing up on his own morals and values.
Here stood the man in front of her who wasn’t ready to let her bow down ever, who valued her more than she valued herself, who was her vision without her specs, her voice without her words, her sanity and her heartbeat.
What was most loved about the entire confession was the normality and not any OTT vibes. It depicted two people expressing their feelings while being overwhelmed in the first place and yet they were sane enough to worry and talk about the practical things that lay ahead of them.
And as Abir said it was akin the hurricanes but there lay a bright sparkling future ahead and till the time they want to be with each other, none can take that away!
What you would love the most in the MishBir sequences –
- Their emotional breakdown in the airport. Her being on her knees and his absolute objection at her that posture.
- Their hug. Not just a hug but his picking her up with ecstasy and joy.
- His playful mood at the temple, the garland accidentally falling on her, her incomplete confession of ‘I Love….’, his ‘I know it even if you aren’t saying it’ kind of expressions’, his poetic assurance to her about building their own home someday, his touching her cheeks to remove the color of holi and her reciprocating the same to absolute delight of his – Everything were emoted with simplicity but great gravity.
P.S:- The fact that MishBir’s confession took place in a temple is probably going to be very significant in future. Abir made sure that his love and confession appeared as pious and honest as possible. There can’t be a better place to dedicate yourself to someone other than a temple. His choice of place itself added to the depth of his intention, confession and promise.
P.P.S:- While for one sister it was the spring blooming, on the other hand it was like a dreaded nightmare taking its shape for Kuhu (Kaveri Priyam). All we had in mind for her was ‘winter is coming’, because Kunal (Ritvik Arora) looked like nothing less than a frozen ‘white walker’ during the entire wedding.
The injustice he was feeling and at the same time which he was inflicting on Kuhu was something that’s not going to bring happy frames in future for Kuhu for sure. Kunal’s only reason for it is too predictable since the guy would be again chanting around ‘yeh sab Mishti ki galti hai‘.
So while bracing yourselves for the maha explosion ahead in the Maha Episode let’s just relish in the feels of ‘Saathiya Mere‘ playing in the background while ‘Ajeeb Rajvansh’ and his ‘Angry Chorni’ walk hand in hand!
