Then they'll come to know of his plan in a snap. That's why he'll need to pretend, actually show them that they're in love and then break up.

As said in today's episode his family was instantaneously ready to get him hitched to the Jakarta or Canada girl in case Sona says 'No'😆

Overall a good episode. Love the actress who's playing Netra ji. Seems very natural yet producer-like.

Ek achha hua ki Sona wasn't invited by the Sippy's (as we had thought it to be) and they both got invited by a common host.

Veena Sippy, no matter how good her intentions are, is very overbearing. Had Rohit actually loved Sonakshi and not told her, veena just confessed for him. Was she right in asking sambhal lo mere Rohit ko? Assuming Sona tou already loves Rohit or is ready to love Rohit. Where is the 'Are you okay with this relationship' question? Or even will you marry him? Or sorry my kid gave your mom an heart attack🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I completely agree! I love Veena Sippy and I adore her relationship with her DIL and MIL (plus Shalini looks gorgeous in every scene) but she has a tendency to coddle Rohit which caused her to become overbearing and cripples his growth. Naren is always pointing this out. Unfortunately, a lot of desi moms are like this towards their grown sons haha Her intentions are noble but her approach is not the best. She needs to let Rohit make his own decisions and own up to his mistakes. I think a lot of Rohit’s behavior (esp towards loved ones aka Sonakshi stems from the coddling). Rohit needs to realize Sonakshi is not obligated to do anything (she is not his mom nor is she a childhood friend). I would love to see a track where Sonakshi is shown meeting other guys or even having a great costar that she shares a wonderful rapport with. Rohit doesn’t realize how attached he is to Sonakshi and how much he cares for her. He needs to realize that if he wants to keep her in his life, he was to work up to it. With his mom, no matter what she will always be there and support his decisions. Anyway I kinda diverted from the original point but I completely agree with you!

@bold1 - This is so true. Boys in Indian households grow up as crown princes, nothing they do is wrong 🙄 then they get used to molly coddling and expect the same behaviour from everyone

@bold2- Agreed here too. Sonakshi has been nothing but helpful and patient towards him when he has been rude and ignorant. Visiting her work place and criticizing the show, inviting her to hospital for their function and behaving poorly, although not his mistake - his bua getting suman arrested, filing a case against Sonakshi before hearing her out🙄 and he was trying to apologise for the one he did not do. Sonakshi saved his ass from getting mugged on streets in Pune, became an uncertified therapist and life coach for him and he expects her to dole out more favours for him, asking her to fool both their families so that they get off his back for marriage. How childish. Least he could do was ask properly, woh bhi ni kia🤷🏽‍♀️, he was again condescending towards her work, saying I am just asking you to act, not climb Mt Everest 🤦🏽‍♀️She owes him nothing. Zilch.
