I didn't quote you coz I wasnt talking to you, and I am not interested in why gullyboy or piku can or cant be compared, gosh both are just films and they are made to be watched and enjoyed, not be over analysed or used for fanwars

I agree Piku and Gullyb oy can't be compared. Finding Fanny was a small, niche film which made almost 30 crores and that too it was in English, with a flop Arjun Kapoor and a theme most won't get. I am sure Ranveer could not have carried off such a film. Also, it released in 2014 and in 2016 Befikre, which was massy, had songs made the same money as Piku did...truthis, Deepika made Piku work and no-one else.

If husband doesn't have problem, then why should we have? 🤔

a film works coz of the story, coz of the content, people enjoyed piku thats why it worked, if piku was a bad film then no matter who was in it it wud not have worked at the box office. you can even see that films with khans are not working coz of bad content, so its all about picking the right film that connects with the audience, yes being a loved star can help but it won't determine whether the film is a hit or not, and credit of a good film doesn't just go to the actors, it goes to the writers and director aswell, they all contribute, without writer and director there would be no film

there was a time wen deepika's films were not dong well, coz the films content wasn't good, then she started choosing the right films that connected, ranveer has also made some bad choices like befikre and kill dil, but he has started to pick better films which is why they are working

every actors career journey is going to be different, so you can't compare any actor or actress to each other, both ranveer and deepika are hard workers and sincere in their work so there is no need to compare them
