I want the whole fandom to breathe. I know we all are frustrated on what’s happening on the show. The media houses are in a frenzy we are getting spoiler after spoiler and frankly each one turns out to be more absurd than the previous one. There is mass hysteria on what is going to happen on the show and if the characters are going to be ruined or not. Well I am just going to say breathe in and breathe out and relax at the end of the day it’s just a show. Also an Ajeeb Adami once said that”Agar life main aghay kia hoga yay pehlay say pata hoga toh maza kaisa aha ga Life na aik novel ki tarah kisi ko nahi pata kay aglay panay par kiya iss liay toh excitement hoti hain iss liay toh maza aha ta hain iss liay tension mat lo bas pana palto” So, quoting our homeboy don’t stress out about the upcoming episodes just let them play out. Let the writers tell us their story. Plus Mishbir story is bound to have a few road blocks because nothing worthwhile in life ever comes easy. The opening quote is to remind all of you of the worth of Mishbir ours is not an ordinary couple there is something about them that has kept all of us hooked up. Plus at the end of the day Mishbir our human they will make mistakes sometimes they will do things that will make us scratch our heads but that’s okay in some ways or the other we all make mistakes but that doesn’t mean we give up on people. Let’s dig in to the episode now.
The episode starts with an adorable conversation between BM and Abir. BM tells Abir that she thinks that whomever he is looking for she thinks he has found that special girl. Homeboy in nervousness kind of breaks the poor laddu but BM is on to him.
“Iss chamak ki zimmedar jo bhi hogi bohot khaas ho gi. Mera ashrwad tum dono kay saath hain” She tells him that who so ever is responsible for the twinkle in his eyes must be very special and we all know she is.
“Agar main ussay batanay jaon aur uss ki family mana kar day toh” Lol our homeboy Abir is so smart he has already started checking the potential of Misthi and him trying to convince the family.
“Bilkul bhi nahi ho hi nahi sakta jis parivar ki beti tumharay saath jayay gi ussay tum jaisa beta bhi toh mila ga. Jis Maa ko tum jaisa beta mila ga woh toh bas dhanay ho jayay gi” BM tells him that any Maa will be grateful to have him as their son in law and that’s true because even my Maa agreed with this sentiment. Our homeboy has succeeded in his mission makahan lagao future saasu maa. She is so impressed by him.
“Samaj lay jiay aap ko beta mil gaya” Abir is so much in awe with the praise BM has showered him with that he bends down to seek her blessing and subtly tells her that she has found her son.
“Kia kaha” BM is like come again.
“Main nay aap ki baat samaj li main ussay zaroor bataon ga. Aap meray saath hain na?” He covers it up with how he has understood what she was trying to say and than he asks BM if she will support him.
“Hamesha” BM assures him of her support.
Overall this indirect approval gave me so much hope and it kind of uplifted the entire episode. If the world has people like BB who can’t see past their own selfish motives the world also has mothers like BM who only know how to love and nurture unconditionally. An over excited Abir runs away to do something for his chorni. On the other end Misthi is lost in thought and is crying as she is torn between Abir and his mother. No one is bothered about her and she is standing to the side near a pillar and is crying while clutching her mendhi clad hand. As Abir passes through the same area his soul senses her to be nearby but as he looks back she is not there. He just missed her by a small moment.
“Ik pal kay liay laga Misthi hain achi baat hain mera focus Misthi par hain par abb ussay batnay par bhi focus karna ho ga meri khusi jo puri duyna ko dikh rahi hain jis ki waja say woh khusi hain ussay toh batao” How do you guys even imagine that this guy will abandon Mish just due to a small misunderstanding. The boy has got no chill he ain’t going to break any ties with his chorni. He leaves his brother’s mendhi to go find a gift for his girl. That entire gift sequence was so cute.
“Zaroorat toh kisi aur ki hain in ki help chaiyay” this particular line focus on the word zaroorat Mish is not just his want anymore she has become a vital need for him. A person can live without their wants but a person cannot let go of their needs. Another hint which tells us of how he won’t abandon her. At first the jeweler shows him jhumkay and he is reminded of those earrings that were the first little thing that linked our AM together. He imagines her to be there and he shows her every gift. Haaye another silent sequence where both Shaheer and Rhea just act based on their eyes and expressions. Gosh they are both so good at conveying emotions without even saying a single word they make you feel so many things. Our babies are so cute Mashallah. The jeweler tells him how he has shown him all the special things but he still hasn’t picked any. To which Abir says:
“Khaas toh who jis kay liay main yay sab dhoond raha hu. Mujhay kuch simple dikhay kuch seedha sada” His girl herself is very special so he doesn’t need anything loud and flashy to convey his feelings rather he needs something that is simple yet beautiful just like his Mish. I love how time and time again Mishbir show us the beauty in simplicity. He find a pendant with a mirror and deems it to be the perfect gift.
“Yay kaanch ka tukra nahi hain yay aania hain aur aania sach bolta hai aur sach yay hain kay woh sab say khaas hain” Do I need to say it again that after this do you all still think our homeboy Abir will break ties with her. He believes a mirror is perfect for her as it will reflect the purity and simplicity of her soul. Two of the things about her that he is gaga about. Her purity will not be diminished by one incident our Homeboy Abir loves her so intensely his love for her will not diminish due to one incident.
Next we are treated to a song sequence where both Abir and Mish are thinking about their love. Atif Aslam is one of my favorite singers and they used tera honay lag hu song which was so apt for our Mishbir. On one end our homeboy Abir can’t contain his excitement as he clutches the pendant and basks under the feelings of his love for his chorni. On the other end Mish is stressing out but than her subconscious visits her and tells her to let all worries side and to just unravel in her feelings of love for Ajeeb Rajvansh . They are both dancing in the joy of their ishq for each other until she imagines him to be there dancing with her. That sequence albeit small was beautiful. The never ending smiles on their faces the effortless way he just picks her up in his arms and the way her hands wrap around his neck like they belong their scream just one thing utter and total bliss. They are the show for me. The magic these too weave on screen always manages to take my breath away. Right on cue Abir video calls her and our girl gets so excited. They talk about Kuhu a bit and I am choosing to ignore that part.
“Yay jo feeling hain na yay bohot amazing hain bohot special hain life main sirf aik hi baar feel hoti hain” Abir tells her that this feeling is very special and unique.
“Konsi wali feeling” She asks which feeling.
“Jab pyar naya hota hain
Toh sab kuch lagta hain
Jab chot bhi pyari lag ti hain( This even the pain she might put them in won’t hurt him much)
Jab nam chingari lgti h
Jab uthti pani me lehre
Jab rang lge zyada gehre
Jab sab kissay ho namak lagay
Jab dhoop main zyada chamak lagay
Jab baarish main zyada paani ho
Jab khawabon main kuch naadnien ho
Jab dil kehta hain risk toh lay( This right here where he is asking her to take a risk and to give love at least one chance)
Chahay jaan lay lay par ishq toh day(Our homeboy just wants to be loved haaye)

Jab dil main tera pyar hain”(How much direct can CV’s be in giving us hints that our boy Abir is a total goner ain’t no misunderstanding going to stop this boy)
Before I sign of I would like to wish you all Eid Mubarak and I will confess that when I watched the episode for the first time even I was pissed but than as time passed and I rewatched the episode I realized that we have put Misthi up on a pedestal that she is strong female lead who always does the right thing but the truth is sometimes the best of us end up making really bad decisions but as our mistakes do not define us let not this incident define Mishti. She is and will always be an angry violent chorni.
Stray thoughts
• BB stoops to a new low every day. She fake cried to manipulate Kunal so he would scold Parul and be rude to her
• The way this mother-son duo talk to Parul is so disgusting makes me wonder how on earth is Abir related to them.
• Ugh the way they show Kunal being extra nice to Kuhu in order to keep her under an illusion is getting really hard to watch now
• Also please stop giving Mishbir dialogues that glorify KUKU.
• Can the CV’s please move past this precap like pretty please.
