Wonderful update.

Khushi is trying her best to warn Arnav about the consequences of befriending Shyam. She is also trying to tell him to involve in the party matters, so that he can find out himself if something goes wrong. Arnav thinks he knows what he is doing. No one can change his mind right now.

At the moment Arnav's gratitude for Shyam and Aman is weighing more than Shyam's criminal record and the reasons for Aman to introduce him to PSP or Viraj's shrewd behaviour.

Arnav is still in two minds to go against Manohar in public. I think something else has to happen, to justify his decision. Is it going to be the lie Manohar told to Arnav about Khushi's feelings for Aakash? He may not question Garima, but, he will surely go ballistic, if he finds out Monohar lied about it.

What made Payal to apologise to Arnav for her behaviour towards Khushi? There is something fishy about it. Was she trying to win some brownie points from Arnav by apologising to Arnav instead of Khushi?

As I thought earlier, there is more to Arti's accident and her final words to Arnav. She did not clearly say she was in this condition because of Manohar, but, her words implied that it could be Manohar.

Arnav called his mother a selfish woman. Were those the words spoken in anger or was it his real opinion about his mother?

Well, as usual this chapter gave birth to more questions than what it answered. So, unwittingly I did end up asking few questions. Sorry about that.

Arnav, Arnav...Arnav

This update screamed Arnav and I cannot be more happy than I am.

His POV was something that sort of gave perspective to a lot of things, including his manipulation to marry Khushi and his apparent dislike for Manohar and his mother's choice of marrying him.

Anyway, he is a man sorted, and his life is like an open book. He has nothing to hide, except that he doesnt want yapping mouths for his mum, although she was in a legit marriage with Manohar. But his protectiveness came to the fore.

He loves Khushi, and there are no two ways about it. But he loves her a tad bit too much for his liking and will be hurt when the truth of her loving Akash, falls out.

This update few things very clearly...

1. Garima lied to Arnav for Khushi's sake. She chose Arnav over Akash

2. Manohar probably wanted to use Khushi as a bait to bend Arnav and he has the promise there.

3. Akash has a secret to keep and I have a feeling that he will hurt Arnav.

4. Khushi is in for a real shock. She is still in a bubble and doesnt realise it.

Btw, N wonderful writing. And the fact that Arnav is a VC, is an icing on the cake. ☺️

Well, Coming to chapter 9. Lots of revelations here.

Khushi is joining herfirm after a leave/sabbatical for the wedding. Arnav is going to be busy withhis political commitments. Loved the fact that Bitwa wanted to ensure safepassage for his Biwi on the first day of her job as Mrs Kapoor Jr in the firmwhere her Sasurji and Jethji are working. Interesting.

Khushi was once again reminded of the fact that Arnav neverwanted to be shown that he is wrong about completely trusting his mentors. Onehas to give marks to Khushi for trying her level best to ensure that herhusband is not seen as an idle man.

Poor Arnav. He is under the misconception that his motherAarti married Manohar, a man much older that herself and rich too, just formoney. Little does he know that Aarti had probably admonished Manohar forcoming to her with a confession of love when he was very much married to Priyaand with 2 children too.

Arnav’s insecurityhas stemmed from the fact that he thought his mom felt he was incapable oftaking care of her. He has been looking for security right from the childhoodand it appears that the first time he got the same was with Shyam and Aman andnow with Khushi. No wonder he mistrusts everyone else.

Manohar was unable to convince Priya to acceptArnav along with him when she took him back and Arnav again felt betrayed anddistanced from the Kapoors
