This chapter gave us insight of Manohar’s and Priya’s marital life so also kushi’s thoughts and views regarding Arnav as a person and as her husband.

It is clearly evident that Manohar and Priya were tied together in a loveless marriage . For Manohar his marriage to Priya was a farce and despite the fact he had fathered two children was desperate to remove the shackles of marriage that bound him to Priya when he fell for Aarti(a young widow).and wanted to marry her. He was ably supported in this matter by his friend Shashi.

Even though later on he married Aarti after divorcing Priya But After Aarti’s death went back to Priya along with Arnav may be because Priya blackmailed him to come back as Payal was going out of control .However the remarriage of Manohar and Priya proved to be futile as not only Payal but also Arnav went astray. Arnav became a bitter foe of Manohar and all attempts of Manohar to reconcile with Arnav failed Arnav joined politics shook hand with Manohar’s enemy and is all set to tarnish Manohar’s image. Manohar sees Aarti in kushi who he feels can change Arnav’s direction guide him and bring him on the right path.

Not only Manohar but also Arnav sees Aarti in kushi and hence was desperate to marry her at any cost Arnav may have flaws but he is very much committed to kushi and will move heaven and earth for her . kushi knows he is totally committed to her but she doesn’t sees Arnav in that perspective nor she doesn’t want a child from him in spite of consummating the marriage, she only sees the vices he has probably could be because I feel he was not her first choice and she was forced to marry him,I feel the ball is in kushi’s court it is up to her to bring him on the right path and it better be soon .

This chapter also saw a new entry Viraj’s brother waiting to see Anjali’s and his interaction .

You made me think, why did Priya want Manohar to get Arnav to take his nomination back/leave PSP? What is her interest in it?

Was she planning to introduce Akash into politics and is Akash going to be the face of NSP same way as Arnav to PSP?
