From what I can tell, I think it might be Atul trying to be nice. I think he'll feel bad for a bit that he's been so rude to KalMa and try to plan some post-marriage rasams for them. All the Deskmukhs except AS are happy with KalMa at the moment. When the Deshmukhs are nice, then are extra nice. But then again, their niceness doesn't last very long. Remember AS when she was pro Kallu and Anu?
