I like this post, coz I guess Prerna needs at least one chance for redemption. I don't really have a problem with anything. This marriage mockery and all also I can accept - I have watched two people accidentally get married and shit on TV 😆

What I do have a problem with - her inconsistency and unidimensional approach. She was so firm I suppose when it came to Komolika track - it looked dramatic but she was pretty resolute. Where is all that resolution now? She should be convinced that what she did was right, instead of feeling SO very guilty for Anurag. She made a goddamn choice. Anurag's life/death sentence + his love + her misery OR his life outside jail + no love + her misery. It's a case of devil and the deep sea. She chose the devil. Why feel so guilty that she's doing something wrong in his love for her? Why is she crying so often and so much? The way she agreed to the marriage - I felt even that scene wasn't powerful but her misery was. Live a miserable life, but live that life with conviction that she made a choice. She chose Anurag's misery outside jail over his misery inside jail. That lack of conviction is making her weak. Indian heroines play the sacrificial bahus all the time, but they show that resilience is the strength women possess. I am dead against tolerance towards everything being portrayed as strength. But here the situation is so weak that such a portrayal would be welcomed instead of being condemned.

Why can't she break the deal and divorce bajaj? After all bajaj is no saint, if he can put such deal to save anurag then why can't she break the deal after saving anurag ? She can use any women card and get divorce from this deal marriage after all nowadays most of laws are women oriented.

Lekin 19th century ke iss show mai prerna ko abla nari ban kar kasautis dete rehna hai and sacrifice ki devi bhi dikhana hai tabhi to saccha pyar prove hoga🤢

star plus has tag line rishta wohi soch nayi but here it is proved rishta is also old and soch is also old...If soch nayi was true then either she had smartness to break deal marriage after saving anurag or she would be enough smart to save anurag without deal marriage.

No character in kzk is well written. Anurag manhandling and slapping someone's wife is well written? Bajaj 's deal marraige where knowing the woman is pregnant still he puts such a disgusting condition, Is Bajaj well written?

But yes I agree with you, in the sense, that atleast these two male leads have their own personality, but Prerna is shown only as someone weak.

Coz if Prerna divorces RB, he will take over Basu Publications again! Prerna's marriage with RB keeps Anurag and his family safe from the clutches of RB.

I'm not saying it is right or logical...but that's how the story will pan
