Being super pretty is not a barometer to success. Actresses like Dia Mirza are gorgeous till this day but she didn't have a great career because she lacked the spark or X factor as she was one dimensional. It is also about your ambition, drive and networking which another gorgeous actress Sushmita didn't have. Yami hasn't done any interesting films that she should be in talks for top projects. She should get more chances to prove herself but it is about luck and destiny as well being in the right place at the right time.

It is not even so called superstar shri Kartik aryan that made Luka Chuppi a success. The movie had favorable release date, hit songs(more like remake of hit songs) and family audience loves romantic comedies based in small town no matter how crap they are.

Lukka Chipping didn't had a family audience theme, hence couldn't make anywhere near the family movie figure, although Kriti's PR did it's best to make it like, it's her movie which is going to make 100 crores, end mai phus hogaya. Khud ke PR articles Mai toh Rooster ka Naam hardly mention karti thi, aur yaha waha credit parity, credit parity bolti phirti thi. Next Deepika toh nahi, lekin iska PR Deepika ke PR se kaam nahi hai.

And Rooster is actually mai popular among youth, actual mai popular hai, not Kriti wala, Insta ke tharki logo ke beech wala popular aur outsider Lelo outsider lelo wale internet warriors type popular.
