Uber actually has a pretty big list of controversies. That's why the original founder had to step down as CEO.

Funny how I was watching this Korean show called "WWW" which deals with the same concept of "censorship and search manipulation, suppressing freedom of choice/speech etc etc" ... looks like quite relevant a show for today's time! ... Too bad I couldn't continue watching it!

Project Dragonfly was about censored version of Google search engine where only government approved links will only be displayed...

Google fr now said they have canceled project. but not sure after billions investment they would leave or build another company to carry on.

This makes sense. AirBnB would definitely negatively impact in cities like San Francisco and NYC more where rents are already so high 😒.

Atleast in New york AirBnb is partially controlled. Still people manage to fake Air Bnb listings.. heard so many stories like people booked AirBnb and were shocked to find it not existing once they reached NYC. Also stories like, illegal listings where the guests had to leave midway after housing dept gcame for surprised check n found it to be illegal.

Dang! This is really sad. I always perceive Amazon as a tech company so I never looked on the other side of things where the people working in the warehouse must really work to meet the extreme deadlines 😒. I wouldn't be able to survive in that environment.
