12th Day Collection of Super 30, Hrithik Roshan starrer is Running Strongly in Week 2

After a terrific second weekend, Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer Super 30 is running strongly on weekdays at the box office despite having the new highly-buzzed The Lion King in the parallel. The Hindi biographical drama is showing a better trend in the second week as compared to the first one.

Reliance Entertainment & PVR Pictures’ presentation had started its journey at a decent note but picked up very well later. At an overall good note, it did the business of 75.85 crores in the opening week that included 50.76 crores in the weekend and 25.09 crores on weekdays.

Then in the second weekend, Super 30 had surprisingly gathered a solid momentum despite The Lion King and registered the business of 24.73 crores with 4.52 crores on Friday, 8.53 crores on Saturday & 11.68 crores on Sunday. Now it is running on weekdays and still has a good hold over the audience in metros.

On 2nd Monday, Vikas Bahl’s directorial had faced a normal drop vis-a-vis 2nd Friday and minted the amount of 3.60 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Tuesday, with a slight further dip, it managed to collect 3.45 crores and raised 12 days total collection to 107.63 crores nett at the domestic box office.

Based on the life of Patna based math wizard Anand Kumar, Super 30 has expectedly got succeed to impress the audience as well as critics and received much appreciation. Also, in Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Gujarat, the film has been declared tax-free.

The figures were good on second Friday with Rs 4.51 crore followed by a huge growth on Saturday with Rs 8.53 crore. The collections escalated on Sunday with Rs 11.68 crore. The collections were strong enough on 2nd Monday with Rs 3.60 crore followed by another solid Rs 3.45, bringing the total to Rs 107.63 crore.

Super 30 Continues To Maintain Well

Super 30 is a HIT film as it maintains strong collections on the weekdays of its second week. The film is heading for a second week of around 37 crore nett which will mean the third highest second week collection of the year after Kabir Singh and Uri - The Surgical Strike..

This means that the film will be at 112 crore nett in two weeks and go towards the 130 crore nett plus mark. The possibilities of beating Gully Boy which did 134 crore nett and has a similar audience is there. The film is not a big hit or anything as appreciation is very limited to the metro audiences just like Gully Boy but these places are giving it enough of audience for it to be a HIT.
